It’s not all fake. My mom used to have to take loans out on her wedding ring to pay the bills many times and the old man would take care of her and say “ let me take care of this young lady” ( even though she was in her early 50s). He also gave her the greatest loan out of every shop in vegas. Truly a classic business man❤

I went in and it looks exactly like it does on the show but seemed a lot smaller. I asked if any of the guys were around but they wasnt just the old man. I begged the cashier to ask him to come out and i would give him 20 bucks and buy an Old Man pawn stars shirt. He came out, shook my hand and signed my shirt i just bought. He was really nice and I still have that shirt.

So, I tried to seduce him with " Hey, man, I see you on TV it's great to meet you" and he just rudely replied " Yeah, well, I still gotta job to do so where's the receipt"? It hurt my feelings cause he was rude and I was just giddy to meet him. He didn't care at all about his celebrity status 😂

@@itsconsolefix Life can get mundane and boring for some, people need things to do besides twiddling their thumbs. Pawn Stars is a fun and entertaining outlet as it deals with cool items and real world transactions (although it’s a scripted show). They don’t shoot in the shop now. Perhaps early on but not for several years. It’s a set next to the shop. The studio is very different from the actual shop. Keep in mind the lighting and sound has to be right. Too chaotic to shoot in the general population, plus would interfere with business.

I went there in like 2012 and it happened to be a day they were filming. But like 70% of the store was sectioned off for them so you could only really see from afar. It was Rick and some dude selling a red box/book thing? The whole store just felt like a gift shop more than anything, just Pawn Stars merch all over the place lol

The original series of the shows were in fact filmed there. We purchased one of the rare photos that’s hanging on the wall of every series of that show. Those episodes, seasons 1-5 were on location. The large, very rare framed photo hangs in one of our bedrooms here and there is no other copy of this. So, once we purchased it, it disappeared from all other episodes. So, possibly after season 6, it moved to a “studio”, but we have this artwork and even verified the signatures on it. The signature is identical if we pause the video while watching. So some of the info in this video is false. They changed the intro around the same time, so we never saw this on their wall or in the new intros after season 6-7, I forget.

I went to the Wahlburgers in Las Vegas a few years back, but couldn’t get in due to security at both doors. Even the walk up bar was being guarded but you could still clearly see inside. I was confused because there were customers in there eating. Soon found out they were filming an episode of The Wahlbugers. Donny and Jenny were there, when they entered the building the director was trying to hype up the crowd to make it seem like there was a ton of people there cheering for them. In fact most people were just standing around confused as to what was going on. Donny and Jenny started serving drinks to the “customers” who I realized were all wearing “New Kids on the Block” tshirts. Then Boys 2 Men showed up and after about 20-30 mins, they all left. When I actually saw the episode later, they made it seem like they just popped in unannounced and hung out with the customers for a long time, debuting Jenny’s new brand of Vodka. It was kinda cool to see but it did open my eyes to the “reality” of reality tv.
