Isn't that the truth... I walked up to the arcade lot that existed in my hometown. All the old shops I used to go to had been turned into different stores which was sad but it was neat to see how they had changed. I wanted to see what they had done to the arcade, only to turn the corner and see that it had been turned into a wall. A big flat wall, where the large arcade was. Covered in concert flyers that had faded in the sun. The huge space behind it, filled in, and hidden from the world. Nobody around me could even tell it had ever existed. I could still see faded images of my memories behind that wall. The fighting game tournaments. The crowds that formed behind us playing DDR that spilled onto the street. I'll just have to take them with me.
