This is probably the best thing Metallica has done in a while. This update is awesome for the long and short term fans and also Fortnite exposes Metallica to a brand new audience. I'm definitely a fan of this update.

Man i loved that event, yea it wasn't full songs, but easily the best concert/event in a while, and when hit the lights started i got goosebumps, didn't think they'd play a deepcut like that, and yea I totally agree, metallica saved festival, like yeah we had hail to the king, dragula toxicity but metallica songs just made it so much more fun imo, (my overall score for them on lead is anywhere from 80-120, so yay)

I’m never been a hard Metallica Fan because it’s not fully my style of music. I’m fan of Lars because as a drummer, I love seeing him in the game. But in general, I love when I have moments where I’m not as geeked out, but others are. Which means Fortnite is doing something right. I’m glad to see your reaction! ❤️

The festival mode used to suck. It was legit just boring pop songs and weird fortnite songs, Metallica 100% saved it. I’m saying that and I’m not even a big fan

The Black Album was the first heavy metal album I bought as a kid. Bought it on good old cassette. That album and Metallica will always be one of those bands that hold a special place for me. That said, I've never been more disappointed in an album when it was released as I was with Load though. My 15 year old self was like what is this shit when I heard Until It Sleeps lol. Gave that album away for free. I saw Metallica live at Lollapalooza the same year and they were great live.
