Great video, inspires me to develop my non-existing skills. I bought the Falcon as my first wheel (retirement present to myself at 65) and have only a few days riding on it. I changed the pads to Grizzla compacts, and I have a knobby tire on the side that I may or may not try once I'm better at riding, to go off road a bit. I found the Falcon very twitchy and wobbly to begin with, I got quite worried I'd made a mistake, but I feel it's getting better and better. Probably a combination of me relaxing my legs and letting the wheel move a bit, me developing some new and finer muscle control, and finally finding a better foot position. I think the Falcon is all I need in an EUC for quite some time. I agree the price is a bit on the high side, but it feels high quality to me so I'm not mad about it.
@boblatkey71602 ай бұрын
Keep on riding it! I'm almost 60 and I found it a bit twitchy also. That goes away very quickly, and keep in mind it is much easier to build your skills on this falcon than it is a big heavy wheel like a Lynx. In less than a month I can already ride backwards on the falcon. Bring it into your living room and practice balance skills while you're watching TV. 😂😂😂😂 have fun!
@better.better2 ай бұрын
what speeds are you riding at, and what kind of distance do you get out of the battery? he says 40 to 50 km which is 25 to 30 MI (a mile is roughly 60% of a kilometer... close enough for a ballpark estimate anyway) I weigh about 190 lbs(86kg)

Just the price is little too high imo... A t4 pro costs around 200 bucks more but with basically nearly double everything....power range, suspension travel......sure it's lighter and that's cool but paying such a premium just for less weight is hmmm
@BunnyslippersEUC2 ай бұрын
@sazzowl_gaming8203 T4 Pro is weak compared to Begode Extreme. And it is just as big. So why even bother hmmm
@sazzowl_gaming82032 ай бұрын
@BunnyslippersEUC it's still pretty powerful and 800 bucks cheaper.....I use it as a fast city commuter with some off road at times. The Extreme is also 46kg heavy...T4 pro has 34kg.... I nearly bought a Master V4 because the price was pretty similar but the downsides because of the heavy weight were just too big for my use case. Mr Wrong way always loved the the Extreme but he is now fully in love with the blitz because of the lower weight of 36kg....

@MisterGames2 ай бұрын
@hvguy i know kitnips kinda did one. But he doesn't start with a full battery and rides X distance then tries to extrapolate a fictional range... I try to make a base line comparison by dividing the battery WH by its weight because besides me it also needs to move itself. The number i get doesn't give me a range but lets me know at least which should go further compared to the other. At that end of the spectrum most are pretty close but nothing comes close to the 16x. But trying to find real world ranges on the S16pro and s19 seems tough also. If the Falcon can only get 23 miles i think they are def targeting the shorter commuter who wants suspension but doesn't want to mess with it, the errand runner and coffee shop run riders.

@@oliveraliv If you can only have one wheel for $2000 I'd pick a T4-PRO or a T4-Max. But if it has to be Falcon or S16 then that is a tough one. The S16 has a lot more range, but is bigger and harder to repair. I'm not sure

SMART BMS being able to look at cell voltages is not smart. My VESC based E-BOARD has a smart bms in that i can change settings so i can change when cell balancing kicks in from 4.0V per cell right down to 3.2v / i can select charge balance / static balance so its all ways balancing if its turned on or off / i can change the cut off setting if i need to squeeze out a few more miles to get me home.

why is there so long time between european reviews vs other reviews?
@mr_wrongway2 ай бұрын
I'm just slow with reviews :/
@manolocomanoloco74512 ай бұрын
@@mr_wrongway the quality of the review is worth the wait!

@@mr_wrongway hehe Im talking generally :) also yeah well you like to put extra time in them, for more quality I get that. But like when did you get the Falcon f.e.x, for comparison I see Marty's first hands on material about the Falcon is 5 months ago, he said it was flown in to him direct from Begode and Jason at eWheels facilitated it. Perhaps Begode and/or OneRide should do more to get wheels to European reviewers sooner too?

i get that oneride is your business partner but what the hell is that €2000 price tag on the falcon, it's €1500 equivalent most other stores. it's a great wheel but absolutely not competitive in the €2000 price range

Pitting these pads wrong way is the only right way to do that.🙃

I am worried about the announced top speed, 30/35 km/h in this test. At what reasonable maximum speed can one hold 10km. Sorry for my language I am French!
@mr_wrongway2 ай бұрын
For sure it can hold for 10km. I'll do a range test at some point :)
