The gear change will help for sure! Great job explaining everything in the video!
@MrNovalou Жыл бұрын
changing to a numerically lower gear will loosen the converter some. I would install the gear, test, and see what you have before messing with the converter. Neal Chance is my choice for converters as well. good luck

@@bics240z dang man it sucks that it’s apart of the sport. Hope you guys can get that fixed in a timely manner. Doing a head gasket ain’t no joke of time consumption either

I am a diesel mechanic I also hate gear oil. I am one of two people in my shop that can do transmissions and rears go figure. You can build your own rears, transmissions and engines. Go for it it will save you downtime and money.

Man I bet you are around that gear lol all the time haha. I do want to setup a third member myself next time, but they wouldn’t sell me a ring and pinion if I didn’t send it in. Their new ring and pinion style requires the case to be clearenced. They said they don’t want their customers doing the clearance job

Hello does the engine run better with aluminum heads instead of cast-iron ones
@Hobbular Жыл бұрын
I would say it ran good with both heads. I can’t really tell a difference in terms of running but I can tell you it makes way more power. The aluminum heads just move more air but in terms of a good running engine I would say they are the same

@@Hobbular hows the tighter torque converter working for you from the loose one you had in there.
@Hobbular Жыл бұрын
@@lennycoluccio9129 man it’s actually too tight and the “loose” one I had wasn’t actually the problem. I’m going to put it back in. I let this rear gear confuse me into thinking the converter was loose. It still laid down a 1.22 60 foot leaving at 3200 rpm haha
