Outta the box heads usually need to be checked out too be safe

Yessir we did inspect them thoroughly. Only thing we found was a ding on the corner of the head. Most likely from shipping but we filed it down. It wasn’t a sealing surface or anything

Thank you!! We just never needed one. It doesn’t leak oil at all but I do understand the benefits of having one. Just haven’t gotten around to it yet

I had four of those gold rockers break on me and they were brand new. The guts just fell out and comp cams gave me some brand new Magnum black rockers

Yeah I think the gold ones have issues with the bearings making their way out. That’s good that they hooked you up man. I love these shaft rockers so far. So easy to adjust the lash

@@Hobbular have you had issues with the valve locks starting to come out or wearing out with your old heads? I've had that happen to me about three times already and luckily caught them in time.

What gear ratio are you running

1.48 in the trans first gear, then a 4.56 in the rear which I plan to change to a 4.30 very soon
