And she's also the reason I "gave this series a chance", because Wednesday was always my favourite character. "Kooky" is a nod to the lyrics of the 60s TV show opening titles: "They're creepy and they're kooky, Mysterious and spooky, They're all together ooky, The Addams Family" There are a lot of Easter eggs from the TV show and the movies throughout the series.

The old poem goes like this: "Monday's child is fair of face / Tuesday's child is full of grace / Wednesday's child is full of woe / Thursday's child has far to go / Friday's child is loving and giving / Saturday's child works hard for his living / And the child that is born on the Sabbath day / Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay." But Wednesday was actually born on a Friday, which means she's "loving and giving." She may not be into romance, but this is a teen drama story, so she's going to get romantic plotlines coming at her whether she wants them or not. "Drip" coffee is like 95% of how people drink coffee. It's just normal coffee.

I think the reason Enid refers to herself as a kitty is because of their dorm identity for the Poe Cup challenge being The Black Cats (already chosen when Wednesday arrives) combined with the standard concept of women as feline, but the girls aren't taking it as demeaning but powerful. "She's catty." "This cat has claws, watch out!"

I've watched Wednesday twice. Once with my mom, and another with an online friend. You're gonna love it. So many twists and turns and constantly making you guess who's who. You said no spoilers, so. Only thing I could say is that love triangle is about right, I really thought everyone was hitting on Wednesday when all the boys and even girls met her, even though she literally threatens their life or pretends they don't even exist. Obsidian is volcanic glass-like rock, black in color. its edges are amongst the sharpest things in the world. Stoneage cultures used it to make cutting tools, daggers, and arrowheads because of how sharp its edges got. It has even been used to make early mirrors out of since it's surface is reflective. The difference between the two methods of colour mixing is whether it's _additive_ mixing or _subtractive._ Cinematographers and lighting technicians would be most familiar with the additive method, where they achieve the desired colour balance by mixing the light from various light sources of different colours and intensities. Painters and printers work with the _subtractive_ method, using various pigments that absorb light of specific colours and reflect only the other wavelengths. Thus, if you add all colours of light together, you get white light (or at least what _feels_ like "white" to our three-colour RGB eyes), and when you add together all pigments, you subtract all colours from any light shone on the painted surface and get… well, not exactly _black,_ because the absorption is never quite perfect, so you get more of a dark, muddy brown. That's why printers use a separate, pure black ink in addition to the cyan, magenta, and yellow inks that make up the colour mixing.

Responding to your comment about Wednesday wearing black and that being all colors. Technically it has to do with whether you’re using additive or subtractive color mixing. In the case of pigment like paint, like you were saying about artists, that would be considered subtractive color mixing; in which case all colors mixed together would equal black; whereas in light, for instance, that would be considered additive color mixing; in which case all colors combine to equal white. So it really depends on what kind of color mixing you’re considering.

(natural)White light contains all the colors. If you use a prism, u can split the white light into its different colours(color spectrum); that's basiclly how a rainbow works. So subtractive color mixing, of course, also utilizes light, but with a different principle: It is using the reflective and absorbing behaviour of surfaces/materials/pigments, which reflect/absorb only a certain amount of the lights wavelenght(color) an therefore 'subtracts' the amount of color(and light) that is reflected in to the eye: That means, if you add all the color-pigments(reflective/absorbing particles that reflect only a specific color[wavelenght]), you subtract all the color(and light) and therefore you will get black (theoretically). That's how it works, basically... :) there are also the primary and secondary colors of each methods and the color theory.... And the human eye is only using 'just' red, green, and blue (and brightness/intensity [non color]) and mixing it all in the brain. That's where image capturing(cameras) and generating(displays) tech stole it's RGB system from.

didn't see a comment clarifying so if I'm beating a dead horse, I apologize, but to be specific about white and black it depends on whether you're talking light or pigment. In terms of visible light, all colors together make white.. or specifically white light contains all colors we see normally of course the absence of all colors of light is darkness and essentially black. in terms of pigment like paints and dyes. Black is a combination of colors. to be super scientific though.. we see color by interpreting specific frequencies of light. So emissive objects like lights, tvs, etc. emit those specific light frequencies, while objects (pigment) absorbs every frequency of light EXCEPT the one you see.. so blue pigment absorbs every frequency except the blue light frequency which is reflected back. So technically white is all colors of light or too much energy of light to see properly (too saturated) which is basically too much light for an object to absorb it all and it reflects all frequencies making a red or blue object (or whatever) appear white.

You should watch the old tv show, it was a sitcom which fit as it was inspired by the Charles Addams cartoons. Wednesday was a little girl on the show. Lurch and Fester were some of the most fun parts of it. Thing was done then by just having boxes on tables with a hinged lid ( actor under the table ).
