It is an important way to see time management, based on the own values instead of simply based on external imposed goals. It's a way to avoid frustration.

QUIRKY TIME MANAGEMENT TIPS 1. Have meetings in someone else’s office. 2. Don’t go out to lunch. 3. Limit the length of your meetings. 4. Don’t take texts & calls during the day. Group them. 5. Reduce meeting times & frequencies (in half). TIME MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES 1. Schedule your values. Do more of what matters most. Determine your non-negotiables. 2. Say NO to many small things so you can say YES to a few big things. The barrier to a meaningful life is not under-commitment but over-commitment. Make a To-Don’t List. (2 more Time Principles in Part 2) 3. Create artificial deadlines - helps you to decide faster, delegate more, and eliminate the unimportant. Craig does his sermon preparation by Wednesday. Read the first sentence of each paragraph (Tip for students maybe.) 4. Empower others as if your future depends on it. Delegate to someone who can do 50% of what you do with momentum. If you delegate authority, you will build leaders. If you delegate tasks, you will build followers.
