Reasons why Kawhi is the best player: 1. Lebron is 35 and doesn't play great defense anymore, in fact the stats show he's actually terrible now. He doesn't lockdown and he's laughably bad at switching now! He will be remembered as a great defender in his prime but that's not the case anymore. To be the best you have to play great on both ends. 2. KD is out for the season next year and who knows how he will be being 32 years old coming off the worst basketball injury a player can have. So he's out of the picture. AD is NOT proven deep in the playoffs and is consistently injured. To be the best you have to have gotten out of the first round of the playoffs. His stats are wonderful but he might end up like Kevin Love or Bosh playing alongside LeBron. Kawhi can score 25 points on almost 50-40-90 shooting splits like KD and he's one of the 5 most devastating defenders and has shown he's the best closer in the NBA and the best two way player! Kawhi already bested LeBron is a Finals matchup when he won the Finals MVP against a PRIME LeBron lead Miami Heat team when he was ONLY 22 years old. I love LeBron he is the greatest SF of all-time and by the time he finishes his career he will arguably go down as one of the top 5 DOA. He's that good. But LeBron is not a dynamic two way player anymore, he struggles in clutch moments because of his terrible free throw shooting and lackadaisical defense.
