It's funny. I don't remember the show that much. But for some reason, I've ALWAYS remembered the theme song! 🎵🎼🎶

who cares what the critics think if people love the TV shows or movies that is all that matters.

My brothers and I were big fans of It's About Time when it was on. We even liked it when the astronauts actually returned to the 20th Century...along with their cave-people friends.:-)

I heard the song in a radio show of oldies music, but had never heard of it. Thanks for this! I would like to know more about Max Headrooom. I think I saw every episode in 1986-87, but it disappeared without a trace (except for the New Coke commercials).

The ship was used on Gilligan's Island. Filmed in same set.

I loved this show! A few years ago The Decades Channel played all the episodes. I thought it was cool. I was a baby in the 60's and I really enjoy watching those old shows. Oh now! Did I just say I was old? LOL!

I totally missed this one when I was a kid..we were watching Disney..but we sang the song all the time, and never knew its origin..I recently discovered it when it was paired with My Mother the Car, and was given a slot on a retro channel.. it’s one of those shows that’s so bad it’s good.. especially when they switched to the fish out of water premise.. I loved Joe E. Ross’ pseudo catchphrase.. Oooo, Oooo that he used on both of his shows..

I remember IT'S ABOUT TIME.I also remember the ".......I Slap Your Face" part. Never hear of Capt. Nice nor the other show. I do recall seeing in the back pages of the newspaper, I think maybe the 70s, that on of the actors who played one of the austonauts, had died.

Sherwood used a lot of the music from Gilligan in this show many music sequences are identical this was a fun show but I would have been happier with an extra season of Gilligan instead of this you can watch all the episodes on here all 26 are on here somewhere.

I remember this show when i was a kid. Scheduled opposite The Wonderful World of Disney and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was brutal. Yeah it was pretty stupid but I liked a lot of the stars in it.

Well that explains why I never saw it or even heard of it. VTTBOTS ran opposite it. Never missed Voyage.

That was one TV series I could never forget! And I loved the caveman family that were brought to modern Earth. One scene I remember bery well was when the caveman family came across a earth scooper that reminded them of a brontasaurus. Why? Because as a boy in NYC during the Mad Men era of the 1960s those machines were used to dig up the dirt in Midtown Manhattan at construction sites for new skyscrapers and they did act as one of those dinosaurs of that time. Entire blocks of Midtown Manhattan were just one big hole in the ground. Check out the documentary Ever New New York from 1962! 😊

This show was a complete waste of the talents of Imogene Coca and Joey Ross. My favorite show was The Addams Family. Yeah ,it was a gimmicky show too I admit it.
