I know Bills son Del, he’s just like his dad and he’s one of the nicest people you’d ever meet. Also an amazing musician. Music is just in the cowsill veins 🙏🏻

The episode of "Life With Lucy" with Audrey Meadows showed how good the show could have been. Lucy and Audrey played off each other so well, and had the sitcom been built around the two of them, it would have had a "Golden Girls"-like appeal. Sadly, the decision to cancel the show was already made when the episode aired.

Yeah I don’t like the actor who played “Opie” Ron Howard and still don’t
@XXxCHRISxXX2 күн бұрын
I thought Ron Howard was amazing as a child actor in Opie. The plans were they wanted Opie to be a wise cracking kid ,but Ron's father offered another alternative as basically a well behaved kid.

One of my favorite scenes is Barney making Otis jump rope and Otis’s rhyme is “slow it down and let me in or I’ll go out and get some gin!” hahahha

Director Michael Curtiz was sadistic. In the 1936 film The Charge of the Light Brigade, 25 horses were killed after they fell while running over trip wire. One of the film's stars, Errol Flynn, was so enraged at Curtiz over this that he attacked him.

@TonyBoyOhBoy , when I typed that comment, I was still in the middle of watching this video. I'm reminded of a saying I heard recently at work that it's important to finish looking at the story before starting an opinion 😆

"I did not know that" is what Johnny Carson said a lot. I'm wondering if you at "I Did Not Know That" know that.

Yes, in fact if you look at my early episodes, my lead in was Dana Carvey saying that as johnny Carson.

I heard the song in a radio show of oldies music, but had never heard of it. Thanks for this! I would like to know more about Max Headrooom. I think I saw every episode in 1986-87, but it disappeared without a trace (except for the New Coke commercials).

If all television and movies were like this, we wouldn’t have the problems we have in this nation now! Kindness to others, honesty, and other moral values was represented in every show and provided fun and laughter! Christians need to stand up and speak out! It’s time to stop overlooking the filth put out on tv and movies! We need a Christian network that represents Family tv. Even Disney is no longer good for our children

In Goobers gas station contest . When Floyd drove away from the pumps at the gas station another actor actually drove the car away from the pumps. Even from behind you could see it was not Floyd driving ? The person was extremely thin just by looking at his neck and shoulders on up ?

Well, it would have been a bit more ethnically fitting. Travolta being a name, like Fonzarelli, that "ends in a vowel" as Italian-Americans like to say. Whereas it was played by a Jewish guy named Henry Winkler. But he had us all fooled. First time I saw Winkler speak as himself, I was floored. He's a great actor. Overlooked, as well.
