Very nice house. One thing I might change is opening up the dining room wall to the stairway. I need a handrail and it would help the stairs not be a long tunnel. The other thing I might do is have the kitchen counter overhang at least 6 inches where the bar stools are. That dining room is huge so I don't think the extra counter would affect it. But I really like the house, including the nice wrapped porch.

I think that it is absolutely gorgeous. I like all the different materials used. The only thing I would do is put a porch the full length of the house in the back with a cover top

Although I much prefer an open floor plan, I appreciate having the square footage of living space. Entry area, porch, downstairs bath, a laundry are, and the closet/pantry under the stairs are nice. The upstairs is also very nice but the home isn’t without its deficits. Laundry is generated primarily upstairs in this home but a cramped laundry area is downstairs. With the way the stairwell is accessed, getting furniture up or down those stairs would be impossible, a huge drawback. Personally, we won’t build or buy a home without a downstairs master suite as we are aging some and do t see an end to that in this world.

The designer was very creative and talented. Personally I would rather see a lighter ceiling in the dining room because the room seems dark. It is beautiful, love the mural. Terrazzo is a great idea for any bathroom but it can be costly. Love seeing the rain gutter on the outside corner post. It makes the cottage look move-in ready. Adding the stone look on the stairs is a nice touch. My favorite part of this cottage is the windows all seem appropriately sized. Why would anyone put in large windows just to cover with furniture. It would be a waste. This cottage is perfect. Well done!!

Too many different finishes; stone, two different types of brick, it's all too much IMO. The same flooring; wood floors throughout would make it more cohesive, with a better flow and make it appear larger than it is. I worked my entire career in residential/commercial real estate, thus the constructive criticism. The exterior is very well done.

Very lovely! I like the separate, walled in rooms. No open concept. I like the different finishes and the combination of different surfaces. Too many small houses are all white - walls, furniture, flloors maybe a light gray. No color or varistiion. I much prefer this, and it is beautufully done. Thanks for this video!

The video is very well done. Love the music and the pacing and the way you show every side of the house. It's a very nice house, feels warm and cozy and everything is well placed. Love all the storage, and although the dining room feels extravagant, I love a big dining room. The kitchen is dream! It's interesting how the downstairs is decorated dark and moody and the upstairs is decorated bright and airy. That's neither good or bad, just interesting. I have minor, optional suggestions only - Make the entry hall more open to the living room Make the stairway even more opened up to the dining room Add a path from the back of the wrap around porch, around the back of the house, leading to the back porch. Landscape it and add a garden bench or two. Maybe you could add a laundry chute from the upstairs hall down to the laundry closet?? I am not sure of this one myself, though. There may be code and safety issues that would prohibit a chute.

I really like the actual room layout and the independent entrance area. But all the dark wood in the basement and the many different mixes of styles make the design look very ill-considered and sometimes cramped. I find the storage solutions very user-friendly.

This one checks many of my boxes, though I'm not keen on combining the laundry with the powder room. There's an inordinately large area for dining, so some revision of the kitchen/laundry/wc space might be possible. Also not keen on the angled steps. A good plan, but it might not work for me.

It's uninviting to me! The wooden doors are great, however, the wanescoating would look much nicer white, I don't care for the gray and metal modern furnishings or the gray stone of the fireplace that contrast with the vintage look of the Interior. The kitchen is cold and the tiles flat and in competition with the gray of the cabinets that have no character!
