Love this concept. I just finished reviewing the Stribog SP10 A3

Cool... I did a comparison between the two. Both are good guns. Both can be ammo picky with the hot stuff.

i vaguely remember war stories involving a type of SMG that was cheap and could be tossed grenade style , maybe it started in a movie but when i saw a Sten blueprint it had to be that one , it looks like if the spot welds broke the top or upper would fly off the handle and continue to fire until empty ,,, i think it's nice the AR platform , it gets complicated just the safeties alone handling loaded firearm when i ponder engineering

...i consider that 1400 + fps to be cavitation producing category , in a "first responders" handbook i skimmed over once in library listed and showed illustrations both the .22 LR and .44 magnum were "high energy " and the wound would have "cavitation" ...also old information said about the same but that's at muzzle so at 1500 fps should be a good brush gun for 50- 100 yards woods stuff where you can only see that far , or maybe the land is flat or something for rifle bullets ...
@AlaskanBallistics

@@BurntKittyForge-pl8ol Interesting. I'd still rather have penetration than cavitation, though both would be nice!

i wonder about casting solid copper boolits ...but i daydream about a hundreds of cast bullet at a time mold , i just wonder about tuning in the mold so when it cools i imagine the shot comes out the right diameter. Lead melts on small campfires even . My first cap and ball pistol i sometimes would cold press the shot into a conical , i didn't know the open top colts or whichever has less build up and smack into the barrel which pulls on the cylinder pin harder , then recoils against the frame when the cylinder is loaded to the top has less build up i don't know how they shoot .45 colt from a .410 cylinder into a rifled barrel must have a good forcing cone or something ...the 12 gauge info i surfed was saying 8 buckshots was better than 9 because the odd 9th one tens to be a flyer from pattern but the .410 shoots 5 buckshots not that im interested but the 3 1/2 " supermag with 18 is the best one imo...ranting again, been up 24 hours doing work on a house...hope you're great ...i got more on topic probably in a second

...i like that pistol , the scope and the grip and all ...i have one nice sword but it's not heat treated or "born" a sword yet because it has a few tooling mark scratches and the blood grooves aren't completely finished but it's 1095 steel so it's a decent blade regardless , the thing is it's best to leave the edge about a dime or nickel width before hardening to help prevent cracking and destroying itself in the quench (the steel is heated to non magnetic temperature and sometimes normalized and allowed to cool and OR dropped into the quench oil or water and agitated a little , then "tempered' by about an hour ot two one hour cycles at given temperature for the temper so it relieves some of the hardness of the quench to balance back maybe 500 F or 700F whatever for desired ...it's harder to sharpen or smooth out tool marks after those , i could sharpen it and then dull it again i realized... The knife itself contains all aspects of steel work or can anyway , The Sword is different from a knife being the mass of very many knife blades of steel , Mostly the Bowie or Khukri type knife blade can even Chop as a practical use by whipping it's own mass into the cut alone. But that's my point, the sword is the mass of many bowies too, sharp is like a giant razor blade , the weight alone is dangerous to set on the fingers for example just setting ...it's not a toy the physics of a real sword .../rant ...it's odd though many would have to chop to experience the physics of small axe like knife blade from a sword or the sharpness that scale ...

i always thought 10mm seemed like a good carbine round ...whether the format is AR-15 or AK-47 , whenever it uses a blowback operated bolt , basically it borrows the trigger group and the receiver geometry , mostly so that the [trigger] parts are [fit] correct , the styling is more for theme , for example a pistol recoil spring could be used and no buffer tube , the AK design needs no gas tube in blowback ...IF i had a company, legit, all legal of course that'd be a prime design [ak blowback pistol caliber] because with the AK import for example ,{edit: 922R , "R" for "Rifle" (not pistol)] applied to Rifles , so the rifle trigger groups were stripped and replaced and the trigger group sold as take off in order to fulfill american parts needed to not be "Import " were legal as pistol parts iirc, the blowback bolt basically a whatever block of steel and the stamped receiver if made from scrap at one point i'd added hypothetical blowback AK that takes Glock mags my lowest maybe $40 if scrap metal was utilized and maybe a $50 barrel or so but theres a method to 3d print the rifling pattern rod and etch it into stainless tube in an electro bath process by soaking, but last i read up to 10" maximum rifling etch was practical that method maybe for the 3d size ....
