I’ve never known what the fascination with number plates are as soon as they drive off everyone can see them plus all the motorists with dash cams, all you can get from a plate is if it’s taxed and has a current MOT .

I wondered how easy it is to report them, and it's very hard to report them, so I just gave up. It would be an easy way for the Police (or whoever is in charge of giving out fines for illegal number plates) to make money. Like the multiple examples I've thought of which my council could use to make money, yet they seem happy enough to ignore things.

The one thing that always irritates me the most about these people is the utter nonsence and ludicrous paranoia over 'private' cars and number plates. Every time you take your car on the road or park it anywhere including your own driveway, it can be seen by anyone. Furthermore, number 1, why would anyone watching a youtube video have any interest or need to find out who owns a car that is seen on the video and then start targetting them and number 2, no personal details can be obtained from a number plate anyway without going to considerable lengths, i. e finding a bent cop to do a PNC check on it. Can somebody please make sense of this paranioa! If I was an auditor I think I would really go to town on these idiots who spout nonsense about number plates.
