It has been confirmed that the Guardian theme DOES play if you take too long to get out of bed with the Zelda theme turned on. It even plays the laser targeting sound effects.

Yes there is. The alarm clock requires Nintendo Switch Online to work. So $100 + a subscription fee for your alarm clock.

Separately they say if you link your account you’ll get access to free updates to get Mario kart 8 and animal crossing scenes. But … they don’t say anything about the subscription needed for it to work.

Persistant alarm clock like this really only are necessary for those *heavy* sleepers. When I was a teen, I had a Sonic Bomb alarm clock (the pink heart shaped one). It's made for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. It gets louder overtime, shakes the entire bed, and has a flashing light that kicks in if you let it scream for long enough. If you need an aggressive alarm clock, it'll do the trick at less than 50% the price. However, the Alarmo is more fun and the friendly sounds would probably piss off roomates less. And a bed shaker like I had would get you murdered if you have an apartment, because that thing is AUDIBLE through the floors.

Quirky, weird and innovative which is why I love Nintendo so much. Definitely going to use the Super Mario Odyssey scenes at first, but I can't wait for the Animal Crossing one to release.
