For anyone wandering, water glassing eggs works by putting eggs in a sealed jar of water with some calcium hydroxide ("picking lime") powder that dissolves in the water and reacts with the egg shells, sealing off the pores (tiny holes in the shell) that expose the eggs to their environment.

oh, this was INCREDIBLE. it really took me back to being a kid and constructing elaborate storylines in my dollhouses, with a bunch of characters who all had their own rooms... more and more i realize that atlantis has inspired me to try my hand at building more than anything else i've seen people build in minecraft. thank you for sharing it with us!

I think the most chaotic food related incident i had as a child was when i tried to share my love of Worcestershire Sauce with my pets by contaminating their water dish with half a bottle of the stuff. I think the only one who got any of it was my cat Shadow, but she lived the longest at 20. So I dont believe it did her any harm.

I actually have vivid childhood memories of eating jam straight from the jar. I'd get a soup spoon, scoop out a generous spoonful, then quickly put the jam away and run off to enjoy the sugar.

I love the mix of armor stand and vanilla blocks. My favorite is the vanilla sea pickle with an armor stand feather to make an inkwell.

In the pantry barrels, you could have different types of potions and rename them as different types of alcohol. IE, Invisibility = Sake or Vodka, Fire Resistance = Mojito, etc. It would be cool if at least some of the staff were fish-people, depending on how much Atlantis you're going for.

the house keeper is in charge of and the most senior of the female servants, the butler is in charge of and the most senior of the male servants. the butler is given responsibility for the expensive wine cellar and thus highly trusted and valued. is a sufficiently large household the kitchen could be a separate domain but generally under the house keepers responsibility. also servants could have their own separate kitchen and dining area apart from the rich folk spaces /prep areas.

you could use the pickax wheel you did for the wheelchair in scarland with a some chains hanging from it as part of the turning system for the spit in the kitchen connected to some sort if treadmill with a dog on it or a child with a crank.
