@Kingofdragons117 You just need one squad with a leader that grants lethal to be stationery, and you get the 5+ crit, reroll hits, lethal, and sustained combo wombo. And intercessors and heavy intercessors do a ton of damage and take damage well for their cost.

I want to play the guard, but these points and rules changes every few weeks are so fucking frustrating. It's gonna be even harder to make a viable 1,000pts list that isnt just all Krieg now.

Tbh nerfing all Scions and Leontus was a bit head scratching and heavy handed... But the others seem fine and none of the changes affect any of my lists which is a bit funny. As you said we adapt and have so many options.

The thing i find most humorous, is that GW properly feeling pretty smug, over how clever they update strategy is, how they chance the meta constantly and forcing one playstyle and/or one faction forward. But the only thing they'll ever get, is more and more people joining the Sulky Simon fanclub, and is most likely looking towards other gaming systems like Bolt Action

They nerfed the catachans to promote their krieg release and thats for damn sure. So no krieg purchases for me, Just hordes of russes and tank commanders.

Honestly it could be worse. Totally expected TCs or Dorns to go up by 10-20pts each, or chicken walkers to rise by 5 each again. Mixed guard is still totally doable.

First
