Simon: Im not ready for a serious relationship with you, sorry. Marcus: This seems like a time to bring up how your ex hurt you and how you can't make good decision about relationships because of daddy issues. Before this conversation, I liked Marcus just fine. Ofcourse I prefered Wilhelm, but I wasn't going to hate on Marcus because of it. However, this conversation was a red flag. And the line "I know you don't want to destroy something this beautiful" came across as manipulating to me. Im not saying that Wilhem and Simons relationship is perfect. There is things that needs to be worked out and adressed, but the thing between Marcus and Simon feels more unbalanced. Even when they have broken up, Simon has a lot easier time expressing his feelings and boundries towards Wilhelm than Marcus. Look at the difference between their conversations. Right from the start, Simon had no problems telling Wilhelm how it was. Like, crown prince or not,here is a piece of my mind. And thats one of the things Wilhelm loved about him. But with Marcus, we see this very careful side of Simon. Someome who doesn't really know how to express himself and becomes very quiet and unsure.

and i guess you're missing the significant implication the fish scene trying to convey. it literally tells us, the viewer, that simon will NOT let marcus in his life ever. the fact that he told marcus the fish doesnt have names is a big tell

Re. the fish scene, the question about their names reminded Simon of that very sweet and romantic moment between him and Wille in season 1. Which he wanted to keep just to himself. Omar also confirmed it in an interview, that in that scene Simon was like none of your business, that's between me and Wille only.

I just love the smart writing of this show! The parallel between Simon and Wille's 1st time together in season one and the scene between Felice and Wille in Ep 3! Both started with Wille asking to be held. Both times were choreographed similarly.... August is a character I love to hate! So it says a lot about the character development that I actually really like the relationship between him and Sarah. He seems like a much softer version of himself when he's with her. His face almost looks completely different. Great acting!

Simon's song wasn't really about the school though, the teacher made Simon add the school's name into it, before that it was purely a song about Wille, that Simon wrote while wearing Wille's sweater.🥺

Oh no, Marcus is the worst, he's pushy and manipulative, why on earth would he bring up Simon's shitty dad like that out of the blue? And not respecting boundaries by kissing him in front of the entire school even though Simon was clearly uncomfortable in that situation? I feel zero sympathy for him, I actually wish Simon cheated on him some more, it's what he deserves.

Did you recognise the flasbacks? Simon said ”cozy” about Tommys home. The same as Wille said when he visited Simon. And Wille asked Felice to hold him. Just the same as he asked the night after Simon had ”rescued” him at from the football field. They want to see if they get the same feeling.. but it won’t work.

Personaly I dislike Marcus very much XD Not because of Wille and Simon, wich I ship ! But because he is the typical 'good guy', but not the real kind, the toxic kind. He forced Simon to try something with him, while Simon literrally told him he was NOT ready. Not only he instisted on that, but he talked about his family and father... That's messed up. And now, after gaslithing Simon into taking it slow, he comes at the rowing event and kisses him in front of everyone, including Wille ? Why ? PDA ???? Is that really taking things slow ? NOPE ! Not only he didn't listen to what Simon said, or they wouldn't see each other anymore. But he doesn't even stay true to what he said he would do. I don't like him, I just can't.

Love your reaction as always! 💕💚Everyone keeps saying it's not her horse, but I mean not to be too leftie or something, but formal ownership isn't everything right? I'm wondering if people have thought about it, it's almost like she's the horses nanny - Felice doesn't like riding, she's scared of the horse - so Sara's is the one seeing the horse several times a day, riding it, cleaning and whatever else it is you have to do with a horse (a lot is my impression). Sure she doesn't have the money to have a/the horse but the fact that she takes care of it makes it not so weird that she's so engaged and worried about where he ends up. I dunno, not a perfect comparison, but I think we shouldn't be too harsh on her acting a bit bonkers.

don't pay attention to all the people freaking out on you about marcus. a lot of fans hate on him hardcore and absolutely refuse to accept that other people can interpret his character positively when like.. duh? everyone's lived experiences are so different and not everyone is going to feel the same as you. i personally also liked marcus and didn't interpret that scene at the stables as manipulative. it's fine if people don't like him but don't try to tell me i'm wrong or stupid for disagreeing? so annoying.
