The facility that Frank gets taken to is supposed like the one in the 1975 movie "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". Interesting fact about that movie is that Danny Devito was in it. The guy playing cards that kept saying "hit me" was Devito's character in the movie. Also, the native American guy is the son of one of the characters in the movie.

I never realized this until just watching this... But Sunny had back-to-back episodes of characters having hallucinations and losing their mind. With Dennis seeing Sinbad and Rob Thomas, and then Charlie seeing Barnie. Mental health shit really must have been on the minds of the writers during this season.

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but Rob, Charlie, and Glenn do an "It's Always Sunny" podcast where they do an episode-by-episode rewatch and talk about the process of writing, shooting, etc. Often with guests like frequent director Randall Einhorn or Kaitlin Olson (Olsen? I always guess the "Elizabeth Olson" spelling, which is the wrong one here) or whomever. Really good!
