Some of the fans of this show are stuck between seasons 3 to 8. Not everything has to be crazy good. I personally enjoyed this show till the last second of it.

I don't think it's one of the best seasons but definitely the best of the newer seasons. 14 was too experimental, 15 was mostly them putting in stuff that people have been asking in on the podcast, while 15 is done in the spirit of classic sunny even though they're not in the bar.

When they talk about "liberal bullshit" it's supposed to come from a place of stupidity. All of the actors themselves are liberal/left-leaning. Hell, Mac has 2 moms in real life and has been a part of a handful of progressive issues. Danny has been a very staunch leftist his whole life. I have to say, the thing I think that detracts a lot from the later Sunny Seasons is the swearing. Adding in the word "fuck" is the opposite of comedy to me. It's not funny to hear someone say it. Except when you don't regularly use it. Back during "Mac And Dennis Manhunters" Charlie and Dee think they're becoming cannibals, and in a moment of panic Charlie yells "I ATE A F-KING MONKEY DEE!" but it was censored and it was hilarious. But in this episode for example, they just kinda pepper it in as a punchline. Hell, the Focus Group lady just says it loudly out of frustration with Charlie. Which could have been a very funny use, but they just kept using it before that moment and the impact wasn't there.

What's awesome about DeVito is he's an actual liberal. Focused on policy and not an identity panderer. In today's America of man hating AOCs, DeVitos a Bernie. Love to see it. What the American "left" is becoming is pretty gross. Doesn't stand for anything but virtue signaling. DeVitos a "Bernie liberal". Focused on workers, wages, and got on a box to reach Bernie's expensive podiums to get the crowd so amped back in his 2016 campaign. If only Bernie had known that nothing torches a campaign quicker in this country than using the word "socialist". He actually thought Americans research stuff. Huge misstep there.

The show is written to show the stupidity of both sides of the argument. Only each side often takes it as support for their political views instead of actually understanding that they explore both sides, or more accurately no side. It's Always Sunny is not a leftist show at all (or at least not leftist in any modern sense).
