3:40 It really is impressive how good this change is in making Thanos himself more important while nerfing the Swiss Army Knife nature of the card. No one saw the Blob change coming either. SD know what they are doing, they just take their time getting there sometimes.

KM, the Blob vs Red Hulk comparison will really matter once we get good stats on who even wants to run Blob now that Thanos was killed. Not many decks will reliably have even 15+ worth of power left in their deck by the end of the game and no one needs it as a Darkhawk counter anymore since no one plays Darkhawk either.

0:41 he got nerfed 8 times before that ONE change: Mind, Time x2, Space, Soul, Blob, Pylocke, Lockjaw. And that was just recent. Thanos himself has been adjusted 3 times too. He's been getting hurt for months. [While also getting support I know ei: Mbird, Cull, Caiera, Hope, etc.]

Red Hulk has screwed me over multiple times by the opponent not playing it and instead playing multiple smaller cards. Watching it grow for several turns makes you focus on it.

Red Hulk with Dracula might work (Dracula Zoo? Black Knight Hela?). How do you play against that? Red Hulk could be played somewhere else, and Dracula drinks someone else. Or Dracula can drink the Code Red, and the player can slam a tonne of other stuff that can't be countered. The psychology seems really frustrating to play against.

The 1 drops I use with my Cull/Skaar deck is nico, nightcrawler and zero. Night crawler is amazing because you can use him to drop the cull, then move out of the location to add another big threat if needed or you can move night crawler if you want to put the cull power elsewhere.

It's a shame how the big bads have ended up. I think its rly hard to make them feel epic while still being balanced. (I'm still waiting for kang rework he was the first series 5 card I ever pulled XD)

My FOMO about Hope Summers is out of control. I couldn’t afford the season pass, so I saved up 6,000 tokens and now Hope just will not show up in my shop, lol. She’s literally the cornerstone of like 85% of the best decks!!! 🙃

What if every stone did what Time stone does now and they all had 2 power? It would be like another mockingbird and you slam 2 free bodies along with another big guy on 6. Would be fun

Since there's more push to play the Thanos card itself (which it should), what if they made him retrigger any Stones played before him? Not sure about what to do with the Power stone (maybe just gives him flat power) but if you could use the stones to empower Thanos as well as draw cards, and then the moment you play him (most often on turn 5 with the Time stone) you retrigger the previous stones, doubling up on the draw for the final turn? Maybe they remove the Space stone from giving a draw but enable it to be played anywhere similarly to Jeff? Might have to give it 0 power too. Whatever happens I'm definitely curious to see how Thanos turns out, but also can we take a look at Kang lol. Like man I know Thanos has been strong but Kang's been irrelevant since he came out and I'm surprised it's taking this long to even try something out.

Hi. Do you think I will regret not getting Red Hulk? Right now I'm saving for Jeff and Niko, as cards that are generally applicable and go into every deck, making them .5% stronger. I'm wondering if you predict Red Hulk will have a similar impact and I should get him for a general collection strength.

This might just make him OP again, but I kind of like the idea of adding the "make Thanos cheaper" text to every one of the stones. They could maybe revert the Time Stone ability to +1 energy but remove its draw to keep it balanced. But if the goal is to get people to actually play Thanos then I think this is a good way to do that. The potential for a godroll of a 0 cost 20 power Thanos sounds really fun and the odds of pulling that off are slim enough that it doesn't feel broken. Especially if Thanos is already cucking your draw by starting in your opening hand. The major sticking point to this would be Mockingbird double dipping the discount, but cards like Killmonger and Möbius might be enough to keep that in check. In any case, I'm all for a Thanos rework that makes him the focal point of his own deck.

Chavez was a constraint for SD because of the absurd number of decks she was in, not because she was in Thanos. She’s never being reverted.

Thanos has been in the top for like six months by now. Their design philosophy is for the meta to have shifts in them and Thanos's dominance was in violation of that. If you don't want the meta to change you are playing the wrong game.
