Sleep deprivation and Electric Callboy make for an interesting reaction, and that's what we have today, with their song "Hypa Hypa". This is just a good time all around! We first met Electric Callboy in their collab with BabyMetal called "Ratatata".

Electric Callboy are the most entertaining band in the world right now, not put out a bad song in last 3 years and live shows just a massive rave of metal & EDM riffs that fill audiences with a euphoria 😆🤘

This song is a cure for a bad mood. 🤣 From the EP MMXX, first release with Nico on clean vocals, what started the current popularity. Their videos are pure fun, hence the 'partycore' designation. You just have to laugh.😂. They have different wigs in other videos too. The subsequent "Tekkno" album has videos for 9 of the 10 songs. "We Got the Moves" ,"Pump It" and "Tekkno Train" when you're ready to come back to them. Good luck with the move. Hope the hurricane/tropical storm didn't impact you too much.

These videos get even funnier!!!!! You need to see Kevin and Nico reacting to people on KZbin reacting to their videos. Absolutely hillarious!! Definitely react to We Got The Moves, Spaceman, Tekkno Train, Parasite live (serious), Arrow Of Love, Pump It (workout video), Mindreader (serious).

"Hypa Hypa" was the first song with their new singer Nico (clean vocals, the smaller of the two frontmen, here with a blonde wig). Second one was "Hate/Love" (a serious song - also a banger). This song came out in 2020, right when the pandemic hit - so it helped people through tough times, right when it was needed the most. "Hypa Hypa" also has 7 cover version / remixes. The guys challenged other artists of different genres to do this with their song. At least half of them resulted in really really good version of it. Decide for yourself, if you want to check them out too. Highly recommended too.

Not a lot of angst in that one! Electric Callboy are just a party, through and through. They bring full on energy to everything and they always go for the fun. I guarantee you will be having a great time, which is pretty much what is suppose to happen. Maybe not the group with the most thoughtful message, but does music really always have to be? No, it can just be fun sometimes. There are about 6 Cover/Collaborations of this song as it was done during Covid. My fave version on YT is the one with Sasha. Electric Callboy are fun and had a previous lead vocalist before this song was issued. The previous vocalist left as he wanted to explore his own path. We Got The Moves is great as well as Pump It. This group show that some people from Germany do have a sense of humour. The videos are done by two members of the group and are excellent.

Electric Callboy does these songs that are, basically, a parody of the over sexualized attitudes and lyrics of guy groups. They take it over the top, but always make more fun of themselves than anything else. The best example of this is "We Got The Moves". Something that should tell you who they really are is that the two lead singers often put out videos where they react to people reacting to their videos and they love it. In fact, on their last tour they took a reactor who's a roadie and put him in charge of some things (I think it was Tank the Tech). Here's hoping you guys are getting settled in and finally getting a chance to rest and relax a bit. It can take a while to decompress after a major move, so don't rush back - we will survive, so just make sure you do as well. ;)
