After a 3 year hiatus the Taste of the Danforth festival has returned. This walk starts at Broadview Station and heads east along Danforth Avenue to Donlands Station.

It's always a good idea to mention prices at a Food Fest, so people can plan ahead. Taste of Danforth is still one of the best and most popular festival in TO. It was definitely busier on Sunday when I was there. Some lineups were 50 deep. Saturday's threat of thunderstorm may have affected the attendance. I remember when Pavlo the famous Greek guitarist came to the Greek stage to perform in the '90s. Years gone by brings back such good memories.

Nice live stream coverage of the taste of the Danforth in Toronto Canada 🇨🇦. The street festival came back in full force. One interesting thing, Danforth Avenue was named after an American visitor Asa Danforth in the 19th century.

We were there Sunday. Arrived just after noon and left about 4pm. It was packed. Not so much at Broadview or by Donlands but everywhere else.

I lived in the Greek town hood for a number of years, but Taste of the Danforth got so ridiculously overcrowded, I just stayed at home till it was over.

I just came back from Italy, France, Greece and Spain in June, and I have to say we need to do things like they do. So many patios and places to sit and eat outside there, much more enjoyable. Freshly Squeezed Lemonaide for $7! LOL the lemon costs 80 cents.

If you go to the taste on the Danforth earlier you don't have to wait too long for food, but if you go late you may have to wait 1 hour or more, especially at the best restaurants

The amount of food stalls and stalls in general have gone WAYYYY down this year. So much empty space between stalls and not even that many corporate stalls trying to sell you stuff. Maybe because its the first year back after several years being off, a number of businesses decided not to participate and perhaps in the future some of those businesses will hopefully return. The area around Broadview is missing another music stage and a number of stalls around it and the area around there is sparse compared to previous years and they don't even have that beer/liquor seating area in the middle of the road that they always had in previous years that took up alot of space that the crowd had to squeeze past on either side. Oh well at least its back and whether or not its good value, its still nice to see a street festival that's been around for decades return.

A little advice. You don't need to mention prices. You can get mad at me for saying this but it makes you sound cheap. From having been in NYC I can say 7 bucks is a steal during an event like this. Cost of living has sky rocketed. We all know this. It sucks. You mention prices in bunch of videos like haircuts or food prices sometimes drinks. Stop harping on the money. I watch these to relax.

I appreciate Johnny mentioning prices. Its nice to know how much some things have gone up in price compared to a few years before. Taste of the Danforth use to be a nice event to try some food at a decent price many years ago, now the prices have gotten even more expensive than pre-pandemic when the prices were already fairly high. As many people have said previously its probably much better to come down to the Danforth on a regular day and just sit down at a restaurant and get a good meal at a decent price than paying TOTD prices.
