You’ll either have to make an extension to raise the radiator cap up on the radiator higher than the top hose, or you'll need to add an inline fill point in the middle of the top radiator hose or its going to be a pain to get all the air out of that system.

In high school (1950’s) my pal Brian and I worked on his 40 Ford coupe ($190.00) and my 53 Chevy ($400.00) with pliers, crescent wrenches and mismatched ratchets. Talk about busted knuckles and bad language that was our world. Did you know 40 Fords have a torque tube? We didn’t either until replacing a blown clutch in his back yard. My 53 Chevy had the latest crankshaft shims and a splash oiling system. Lowering the front end by heating the springs worked wonders on the oiling system. Vacuum windshield wipers were a bonus going uphill in a driving rain. Laughable today but challenging at 17.

@@mattsez2879 the 6.7 fords use air to water. My brothers Jeep has a supercharger on it too and has the same setup. It has its own radiator and coolant pump and has quite the supply of coolant to keep it cool. The drag racing water to air setup definitely won’t work.

Fantastic video. Michelle, you bring a ray of sun shine to the shop. I mean all this in a good way. You seem super fun to hang out with. And I have to be honest. On your parts ID. I knew exactly what you were saying. It is not your job to know what things are out there. HOW ABOUT, have a section of video in the kitchen asking Paul what things do. Or better yet. Paul go and get X from the cabinet. Turn the tables a little. And of course Grandma Lolley has to be in on it two to watch Paul in the kitchen. Or even better. Have him do a hair cut or color someone's hair. And name the tools you use in the hair cut shoppe. Oh Oh Oh. Now Paul you want to laugh and giggle at Michelle. You asked what is this? It part of the old alternator. No my friend it is not. That is part of the generator. That is a voltage regulator. An alternator has one built inside of it.

You got miles of clearance between the engine and hood so why not lay the intercooler on top of the engine like a WRX? Awesome video.

I've recommended a TMIC before. Would be ugly but would work alot better than what he is doing.

Hi Paul, cut your large intercooler in half and build a box to join the cut ends, this makes it twice as wide and half the length, with both outlets facing up.
