Just watching your complete series, to get an idea of the bike, without doing anything myself for now :D got one a few weeks ago.... The "backbleeding" is genius :o have to remember that, absolutely perfect, thanks!

exelent videos You have recorded for us ,been watching all of them with the dismantling and rebuild of your gsf 1200 bandit, I am doing all the same things to my bike complete rebuild, exept the gear cogs replacement, mine is a 1984, gsx 1150 ef,nice bike but with 110.000 km on the clocks it was need for some upgrades all over the bike ,and many things are much the same on gsx and gsf I can see. I will hopefully be finshed with my bike next month got a few things left to do ,bought a new clutch basket (The suzuki ticking sound when the oil filler cap is of) and while the clutch is of , also a oil pump and drive cogs for the oilpump as well

What to do next? I reckon you should order the new parts needed, start to sort out the front end and tell us what colour scheme is and if you’re having a new headlamp or going with the old unit! Great work again!

Bleeding brakes can be such a nightmare. On a modern CBR 1000 fireblade it takes up to six hours. Gixer about 20 mins max lol.

I'm glad the bandit doesn't have one of those fancy ABS systems!

Want to have a go on it myself, been 6 whole months since I rode it last! 😱

You do realise that the suspense is killing me as I want this bike to start, with or without wheels and forks lol Like that back tyre to. I quite like the idea of highly polishing my foot rest hangers, swing arm (and thought about getting it braced) Any ideas about raising the front end/standard bandit forks as much as possible as I'd like to jack the rear up to. It's all go now in preparation for summer lol. Anyway I'm deviating....start the bloody bike 😁

I want to hear it start as well! won't be long now, not heard of anyone jacking the front end up before, normally jack the bike up at the rear to put the weight over the front and make the bike a bit shorter to help with turning in on corners

Use a large syringe for the bleeding. Lot easier

Vacuum pump works well for me. Cars and bikes. Been using it for years. Rebuilt once even.
