The MORR-VAIR plate is from Germany - what's interesting about german plates, is that every letter and number in the font is design the way that makes it impossible to change it to another with marker or paint - like for example F in to E. They all have different distinct shapes.

There is an “International vehicle registration code” that assigns between one and three letters to every country. You are supposed to have that label on your vehicle whenever you drive it outside of its country of registration. Within the European Union that country code has been incorporated into the license plate design (thus the D on the left of the license plate). This system originated from a 1909 ‘International Convention with respect to the Circulation of Motor Vehicles’.

Hey Matt. Ed's apartment looks great. This may be a good time to also consider apartment modifications as he continues to age. To name some: Grab bars in shower/ shower chair. High rise toilet, wide enough doors for a wheel chair/ walker, items placed at shoulder/waist level, color contrast surfaces and elevating chair. He is still youthful now but items in place can help him maintain independence in the future. A home health occupational therapist specializes in this.

These should have been included in the process. Backing for grab bars (costly to do after the shower and drywall is done}, ADA compliant shower and toilet, sink. These are needed now. I really appreciate the apartment for Ed, but it was made with marginal planning.

HI MATT, As a guy that used to make stuff like assemblies,I would suggest you ADD 2 dowel pins of 1/2 x 1 long to the differential to locate the shield in place while you put in the bolts.On heavy assemblies the pins are used for locating and alignment only.They help to keep from cross-threading bolts etc.Also the washers as spacers are going to allow the shield to flex the bolts and stress crack them,i suggest you let TOM _TOM figure out a way to either make a SHIM PLATE or grind the diff until you have 2 flat mating surfaces without washers.Another way {the hackers way}would be to weld 1 inch diameter beads opposite the bolt holes and grind them to the thickness of the washers to TRANSFER the clamping pressure of the bolts to the edge of the that plate.just tips i learned on how to stop stress risers on heavy plate assembly. Wreckers really looking good.Remember no sharp inside corners,Radius to stop cracks before they start.haha

My mate was abused by his wife .she ended up poisoning him with anti freeze .in the end he was on deaths door for a month ,but with a lot of luck and his own will to live he came through it ,,but sadly he is now blind and suffers from kidney and liver damage ,,he married the nurse that looked after him and have been happy for quite a few years..his ex wife is serving a 20 year sentence for attempting to murder him ,,the thing is ,there is so much on social media how bad men are at this sort of thing ,but women are ,and can be worse than men .it seems they don’t want to own the bad things women do but will slate us fellas at the drop of a hat for abuse against women ….nobody should put a hand on anybody whatever there gender❤❤❤

I used to think it was never ok to hit women, then i saw a roommates struggles with his gf, and at one point she admitted to trying to provoke him to hit her. Here's a little tip for the screws your hanging the hoods and jackets on. Take a piece of rubber hose that fits over the screws, and it's a lot easier on whatever you're hanging on it. Less chance of tear or damage.

Hey Matt, the white/blue Morrvair Signs with the D on it are from Germany. The D stands vor Deutschland. This are our Road Signs we have here. Normally they have 2 or 3 Letters for the Town or County where the car is registered. Then you could choose 2 letters and 3 or 4 numbers or you get some which are free. Great you have some in the shop. 😃

The res was the clearance issue with the frame. Then the tire clearance with the res became a issue. Now the system is remote so it can be mounted to the hoop and the connection turned inside and a small clearance made for interfaces. Maybe even a pass through for the hose to help with mounting.

The sign with the white "D" on the blue field means "Deutschland" = Germany! ;) And in Germany the numberplates are written like this. One, two or three letters for the town your car ist registered then a space and then one or two letters without special meaning and then one to four digits from 1-9999. So i think MA stands for Matt, OR stands for OffRoad and the 455 i have no idea!
