It's been a minute since Bungie has made some decent multiplayer maps.

Destiny 2 is a lesser game than Destiny for many reasons, one such being the level design. If you look at multiplayer in particular all the favorites still swirling around in my head includes everything from Rusted Lands to Exodus Blue. While not all the maps in Destiny 2 stink, I haven't held most of them up to the same regards. The newest batch in particular are that way. This one isn't quite as awful as Disjunction, but still I'd prefer matching up on a map that I like rather than struggle getting the heavy from the worst possible location.

For starters, the location of the heavy. There are maps where the grab isn't in such an open spot. From that position you are easily able to be wiped out as shown in the footage. I know there's always a chance within other map designs too, but more so it's easier getting heavy on the whole for the most part.

@@graygargoyle7561 That's interesting, for me personally I think that's one of the more fun aspects of it. It's high risk, high reward. And it effectively forces a battle of attrition until there is access. I understand why others wouldn't be crazy about it though. I personally enjoy the map.

@@Arshay Don't get me wrong, though. I've definitely played worse maps. However, I'd still rather not make doing something as simple as getting heavy turn into an epic struggle. Sometimes it's fun to do it that way, but under normal circumstances I can see this being a problem... especially if you're not equipped with someone able to challenge the heavy.

@@graygargoyle7561getting heavy should be a struggle. They're mostly insta kill weapons so it should be difficult to get the ammo for them. I actually think this is the best of the 3 new maps. Cirrus plaza is absolute garbage to me. Shotgun paradise like the majority of maps in this game. There's a reason 80% of players use a shotgun as their special weapon. So many small, congested maps that would better suit 5v5 instead of 6v6, no flinch penalty and no aim necessary to get kills.

@@herbalT13 Cirrus Plaza has to be my favorite of the three. While the map layout is sort of plain, it's also built in such a way to situate it where the giant hallway adds a perimeter between the two warring sides. The heavy itself does have at least a little bit of cover, but at the same time it's in a hot danger zone. I probably have had more trouble getting heavy from the Plaza map given its location... not that either map comes up that often for me.
