An interesting point is that Andressa helps Mark to inadvertently better understand his dad’s perspective. Thraxan lives are only one year and to Mark that seems insane and almost unbelievable. It mirrors how Viltrumite lives span centuries but a human life is so short in comparison, lit just like how Nolan said “A speck in the span of my life.” Andressa’s line “It’s never seemed short to me.” is really easy for him to understand since he’s gone through that same kind of experience and mind set.

I forgot how emotional Nolan got in the start of this episode. They really captured his undying tortured conquerers soul and it's so perfect. Also the dichotomy between the clones and debbie and everything is just so well done. Glad y'all are almost caught up!

27:20 FATALITY!! One of my favorite episodes. Normally don’t pay much attention to the songs in the show, but Avalanche won me over. Having a heart and a conscience (still growing) Nolan just didn’t know how to handle it. It’s why he asked Mark how come he cares about a fragile species that can barely fight for themselves

Fun fact here in the series they are speeding things up by giving Mark more power but really in the comics Mark was literally being annihilated by the adult Viltrumites basically Nolan fought against the two Viltrumites and at the same time protected Mark and when he defeated them he said an ultra-based short dialogue an it was like "viltrum has sent you here to di3, prepare yourself" I mean making it clear that Nolan is very powerful

Thought I made this comment, but KZbin says I didn’t, I had a huge blurb about Nolan’s actions, but it can be summed up as, your interpretation of specific things was a bit harsh, but totally understandable. That said, I’m pulling out the commenter privilege, and saying you should watch a thing. I think you guys should react to, Overlord. Good Anime. skeleton man takes over world. yeah so if it wasnt clear debbie is the X factor that made mark different from the others, its really cool to see, cause its clear marks his fathers son expecially when he was younger, so you can see how in other worlds he takes after him just a tad more, but in this world its debbie who picked up the slack, meaning despite his DNA he truely is half human

You can always tell who reactors are and the dynamics of co-hosts relationships and standings when one reactor always HAS to look at the other person's face whenever they say anything to see if the other agrees.
