I believe Ukrainean government representatives have to hold on, chill down and understand that Polish representatives do not want Ukrainean grain sold in Poland but they do allow transit. The reason is simple: huge agribusiness in Ukraine is producing grain so cheap that is profitable to sell even in the poorest countries. Thus small private Polish farmers cannot compete. Rather the Ukrainean government should strike any deal with grain transit by railroad to any ports of Poland, Germany, Croatia.

Ukraine is literally trying not to be killed and perhaps this isn't the best time to sort out grain issues. Poland hasn't said that Ukraine can't go through them to access other countries, just that they can't sell in their markets. They both need to sit down and agree on the grain, or else Poland will start withdrawing military support if Zelenskyy runs around dissing them at world meetings

Election time for Poland... far right party needs votes from the farmers, so they had to make this kind of statement. For me it's wrong, because we are in EU, so we must act together to solve the problems. It's like migrants. I'm Italian and we suffer a lot for the mass migrations from Africa, just like Greece. But EU what does it do? That's why we must be united to help each other and not think only about our own land. Clearly we have to defend our national interests, but in the same time we must work together to solve the biggest problems.

I will say this....the grain thing should be kept under the table between government officials in Poland and Ukraine - this type of outspoken disagreements will play into Russian propaganda. Some sort of common agreement where there are give and take on both sides must be found. I understand both sides, but please focus on the main objective - removal of Russian forces from Ukraine and the end of the Putin regime Putin must be put into cement shoes and thrown into the Baltic

I understand Poland protecting its agriculter as they are doing their job in representing the people they are elected to do and I think if Poland is needed as an avenue to channel Ukrain grain through it onto other countries then this is a better solution in helping Ukraine in a positive way and I think this is a time for negotaitions on it but a time for agressive fighting. Ukraine does need a viable solution for their grain and income to help them and I think other countries could help in a positive way. Gonna suggest that countries figure out protection for grain ships and then resume all the grain ships, if ruzzia interferes or boards or shoots then convert them to salvage. I'm hopeful the Ukrainian government, and the Polish government can quickly reach an amicable solution to the issues causing a problem. Certainly in times such as these it's ever more important that they do so. The Polish people have been extremely helpful in the Ukrainian efforts against the criminal Russian regime. That, and the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been doing the heavy lifting in battling the medieval enemy amidst unfathomable destruction of their homeland. Perhaps the Polish government can permit overland transportation of Ukrainian grains to the Polish seaport of Gdansk for Ukrainian sales to the world markets. Perhaps this can be done without major disruption to Polish commerce. This would seem a logical solution. It's obvious the entire European Union, and Western governments including the United States could all assist in the task. A couple of important points, points that should be the impetus for remaining helpful to each other that none of the free world can overlook. Firstly, the nation of Ukraine must not be allowed to fail in it's rightful efforts to reclaim their lands. Secondly, that the entire aforementioned coalition of nations must continue to assure this. People should understand that this current grain related quarrel is in part a consequence of some smaller tensions that have been going for a while already, and many people in Poland are not happy about those. 1. When the Ukrainian missile accidently struck a Polish village in 2022 and killed two Polish civilians, Zelenski first denied it was theirs, but eventually admitted but NEVER apologized. A simple diplomatic gesture would do, like 'we know it was an accident, but we feel sorry for what happen to our brothers'. 2. A Polish official voiced an opinion that maybe it's about time Ukraine finally officially apologized for the massacres of Polish civilians in Volhynia during WWII (these were very brutal and included things like bayonetas vs. pregnant women, I dare you to research that, but it's terrifying; up to 100 thousand Poles, plus hundreds of Chechs, Jews, Russians, Georgians and even Ukrainians who tried to help Poles). Ukraine immediately responded that nobody would tell them what to do or if they should apologize to anyone. They were so arrogant that they even summoned Polish embassy official to explain it. 3. Despite recent official requests, Ukraine still hasn't allowed Poland to exhume the bodies of the victims. In an interview, a Ukrainian official stated that they could maybe do it under a condition that a plaque commemorating members of UPA should be installed. The very same UPA who conducted the massacres. Even today, Ukraine doesn't hide that they pay respect to that nationalist formation. 4. During the recent official Polish-Ukrainian commemoration of those events (80th anniversary), no single 'sorry' or acknowledgement that Ukrainians did was heard. What's worse, a Ukrainian official made a weird speech, where he was mentioning Polish and Ukrainians suffering from Germans - go figure... The problem is much deeper, and many Poles are upset/saddened/disappointed at how Ukraine is acting now. Zelenski suing Poland in WTO was simply too much. It was a bucket of cold water for Poland, and made many Poles question if all the support they have been giving Ukraine is actually worth it. Is this how a friend acts? You give your friend in need your home to shelter and feed his family, your guns to help him protect himself, but then he says it's not enough and demands you to sacrifice even more, this time the livelihood of your own family members. You say sorry bro, that's all I can do, so he immediately starts telling around you are the bad one and are trying to help his main enemy...

by not fully supporting Ukr due to unresolved issues, Poland is increasing the risk of ruSSia attacking and occupying Poland. As a person whose family comes from the part of Poland that was occupied by russia pursuing Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact, and whose half of family was cruelly murdered by russia, I think it is better for Poland to minimise the risk of that happening. Wolyn massacre was horrible - supporting Ukraine now decreases the risk of russians doing equally cruel massacres on Poles in the future - us and our children.

As much as i love our neighbour Poland. Its been 80 years and also the reparations topic was settled contractioally. The demand for reparations now is greedy. To me personally it feels like a plot to weaken Germany and strenghtening Poland to become more powerful in Europe. Not working together is the wrong way in those days.

As a German I say, that German politicians all suck big time. I cant name a single good one, not even on a local level. Every party sucks and the right and left ones (AfD and Linke) should be flat out banned for their Putin support. Germany needs to badly pay reparations to the Nama and Herero. To those people, not to teh state they are living in now, since in that their are minorities. Id liek to see develpoment helps in tehri ethic strongholds, free healthcare for them and lots of education programs including free stipends on schools in Germany. But Germany isnt doing any of that. About Poland I was under the impression that those reparations with our fellow European countries were all said and down, that there were lots of contracts after the war regulating that. (If the Soviets fcked over Poland and others, that is not on Germany but on Russia.) I am all for more friendship with Poland, more cooperation and bilateral projects in the spirit of making amends... but just handing over sacks and sacks of money 80 years after the war and 30 years after the soviet union, just doesnt sit right with me, either.

I hope German government soon has funds to help Ukraine rebuild after that war ends while it at the same time offers for expert better deals with CEOs in nations which conscripted into the military German soldiers have harmed in the past. I hope men's rights groups worldwide can find ways to end the practice of conscripting men into the military against their will. Because the right to live and work without having to cope with constant danger to life and limb is basic to human rights. I heard on Perun channel that Germany took 10 years (or so) to chose a helmet because they needed to be sure it would fit the German head. Having a son with a big German head I understand that. Those russian artillerymen are interesting. There was an intercepted russian phone call on another youtube channel last week in which the russian sokdier mentioned that their artillery had no ammunition so the artilerymen were being sent to the front to fight as infantry. The main takeaway is that the russians - very obviously - have run out of ammunition on sectors of the front. Which means they are low on ammunition even on key sectors. The ukrainian supply interdiction is clearly working. As for the artillerymen themselves, i have no sympathy. As a former infantryman my sympathy is with their victims. These guys have no idea of the death, injuries, and terror they have been inflicting on others. Now they can learn.
