It starts in S4 Finale, where Chen takes down La Fiera (Sandra) in an undercover mission. As a payback, Sandra kidnaps Lopez at her wedding, whom she bonded with over the motherhood over her child (who was killed an episode earlier, Diego). She also has her people kill Jackson, since he was an added bonus and not the target. Sandra then proceeds to take Angela to Guatemala, where she “controls” the country (because she has a drug empire). She tells Angela that she’s keeping her alive to use her as a Surrogate (take her child away from her when it’s born, and pass it as her own) because Angela blamed Sandra for Diego’s death, because she used him as a front to meet with another drug lord. Over in LA, The team splits into 2 groups: One traveling to Guatemala to rescue Angela, and One going to catch Jackson’s killer. Group 2 finishes pretty quickly and folds back in to help with it.
