Love the tree vid, but the debrief and chat afterwards was the real gold, sorry to hear of Vincent's passing, sounds like one of his legacys was to spur you all on to action, and to have a world wide reach thru your video. Its good to be a safe harbor for others, and in other seasons of our lives, we need the safe harbor from the storm of life ourselves. I love the unfiltered life of young kids, and the joy that that can bring. Next question to put forward to the family, is to ask them to pray and tell you what they hear from God in reply of what to do, now that can really surprise you, look forward to hearing about that next adventure. Thanks again for the time you take to make these videos, in the time required to get the shot, the editing, and the going back over them to be finally uploaded for viewing. Cheers mate and keep up the great work of being an available Father, Husband and Man to your family beyond Yt.

I started similar impact service for me at church. I truly enjoy cutting and processing firewood. So I decided to choose someone at church to provide firewood to. I burn and sell (some). But I went the opposite direction as y’all have chosen, I looked for young couples with children to serve. I remember when my wife and I started and how money and time was hard to come by. So wanting to help in my thinking is to take seasoned firewood to them as knowing they use wood to heat their home and let them feel the given relief I get for attending church. Hope it makes them and their children see God’s grace in receiving is part of the faith!

Nice point about going to church. I know many are not what they were when I grew up in rural Montana. But I could help make a difference by making a point to engage with those I may not know. Go beyond shaking hands and saying hello. I've bounced around often because of work. So now it is time to get myself and my family more a part of a community.

Enjoyed the video. Edpecially the masterful felling of the heavy leaner at 6:00 mark. A thing of beauty. You did good, August. 🙌👍 The idea of giving to others, whether it be a message or baked goods or helicopter/bible pics, is a much needed program ALL should be on. I was going to define the people I thought should/could/would follow such program but decided not to narrow the audience down.....ALL should be concerned with true life and profess/give to ALL. Thanks for the wonderful message.

These thoughts of gifts, or random acts of love, or kindness pop into my mind often. My life is not easy, but I work hard, and life is very good. Full of challenges, but I am truly blessed. I constantly want to share my talents, or time, or other deeds with others I know will get some light & love in their life. Isn't that what it's all about?! It is often much easier to share gifts with others, when we ourselves are in a good place. However, we can let the moment(s) pass by (as August shares) -- So, it is important to see things through; when we can. It is one of the greatest satisfactions there is. To share a gift (no matter what it is -- thought, deed, action) with others. Thanks for sharing brother. Hopefully we can continue to ripple your message throughout the "pond."

Years of observation and judgement allows you to see each tree as individuals and treat them as such, same as people. If they need watering, fetch a bucket of water I live in an intentional community of 24 varied house holds so every day is an opportunity to help or humor or just say hello and most days that is enough. Cheers.

I have a simple rule-where ever I go I will attempt to leave it a “better place” through a “love or care service”. Not to be misunderstood- that my contribution is “better or superior “ You called it serving or bringing not just taking. My son then ask me: how would he “know”…what and how, especially in a place he did not like or feel comfortable at…a deeper topic for sure. Thank you as always!!!

It's crazy the amount of synchronicities there are in a world that gives off an illusion of chaos. It's these moments when we are gently reminded that there is something more than what we see in our tiny existence that brings me hope. It's a beautiful thing when you choose to be a part of this unseen magic by doing what you can to help others. You may not know it and they may not even be fully aware of it but this s just one way that God is connecting with us and revealing Himself through the veil of dimensions, kinda like how a madrona will hang on when you need it to even when it defies everything you know about madrona. Did a sizzwheel on a big madrona top yesterday and it surprised the shit out of me to the point where I was afraid it might barber chair and snipped it after a nice swing right into the drop zone. What do you know, August is posting a swinging madrona. Synchronicities brother, we are on the right path. Hope that guy is blessed by the firewood.

TRUE authority builds other people up because it is doing its utmost to be the servant of all!! (The dictionary definition of authority falls short😮) Now it's up to others to choose to (or not) line up under that authority, receive the info & influence, and get the blessing !!!😊😊😊 FALSE Authority is a top-down autocratic oppressor that declares itself to be the authority, but doesn't give two rats tails about the welfare of anybody under its influence. You're welcome.

....ok look...this is exactly what I think everyone sees already....August ....your inner self is on display all the time. You could have given examples of ways to give instead of take with big "things" or big projects or presentations...but instead you spoke of everyday ACTS OF KINDNESS that LITERALLY ALL OF US CAN DO...things like cooking for a family , writing down honest feelings to someone who needs & appreciates kind words....then the seize the moments b4 that moment passes you up. It's like the everyday " average Joe" Who activily puts others first even in the most simple ways. You and I are no where near each other, but your a favorite person in my world, nonetheless. #PayItForward.

It’s a strange thing that men can get gut feelings that reaches into the soul and spirit. We have lost that deep connection by complicating our thoughts with distracting devices. I consider that inner voice and measure it, carefully comparing and weighing judgements.
