Fantastic discussion as always. Talking of the Lionesses lets also mention the England Women Amputee Lionesses who competed in the World Cup this month and the brilliant Annabel Kiki at just 16 became the first female English footballer to win a World Cup Golden Boot!! Such a talent and lethal in front of goal. Totally inspirational for all young amputee girls and boys who want to play football. I think she ( and the team ) should be honoured at the USA game at Wembley. Only Lineker and Kane have won a World cup golden boot before her! If they are not worthy of being honoured then who does?!! Also the FA needs to fund them. Annabel Kiki......legend at just 16 and a true Lionesses.

Pretty decent Lionesses squad tbh. Gutted for Poppy Pattinson and Grace Fisk though, thought both deserve a call up. Hemp, Toone, James and Charles hopefully should be back by the all important Nations League.

For Naz recent performance I just think it's the kind of players she has playing around her in Spurs, and it's not like she alone can defend and then go score goals, with how far outside the manager is playing her...like with their recent form even I won't want to be on their team

Please Steph and Ian, keep talking sense so that someone else might listen, as you discussed. I was thinking "What about Blanchard?" and Ian said her name. I commented elsewhere that I had imagined a swap for Chloe Kelly plus loan youngsters. Not expecting that, just something that popped in my head, but will the transfer window be exciting or quiet?

Foreign players are getting more time on the pitch while English players are getting more time on the bench, that’s why other nations are getting better than England and Serena is having difficulties when it comes to selection

This isn't true, the fact that Chloe Kelly don't feature in games don't mean English players don't get more playing time, look at other clubs with English players and tell me they don't get playing time

@ ok example Kaneryd or Agee , Mead or Caldentey, Fowler or Kelly, Man United no English forward are playing,and the rest are the same

England - WSL Blanchard - 7 games 3 goals not even considered!!!! Blindkilde-Brown 3 games (most as a sub) 0 goals ( Taylor plays against weaker teams ...she is not a first choice player for him.) in squad! Naz - 8 games 1 goal ( sorry I have no idea why she is in the squad. Apart from pace her game is not good enough. She looks confused most of the time when on the ball or out of possession...totally over hyped. Last 30 WSL games only 4 goals.....yet somehow she is an England starter ahead of ABJ who in the same time has 24 games ( many as sub ) and has scored 14WSL goals. Why has she not selected Keating as the 4th goalie instead of sticking with 3 ( Moorehouse...will she ever get a minute on the pitch? No because Hampton will play against the US and Earps will play against Switzerland ) More and more Sarina's choices make less and less sense to me. Sarina has drafted U23 players in so she can drop them without much fuss when her normal players are back from injury. Not even having Blanchard in is incredible to me, but totally not surprising! She has the same number of WSL goals as Ramirez, Russo, Kaneryd, Kirby, Parris, ABJ, Roord, Terland and Clinton and they all play for the big clubs so what she is doing at Palace is more impressive....yet Sarina is not looking. Pleased Gabby is in squad but the questions should be why was she not in the last one when we had no left footed left backs.....and why is Poppy Pattinson not in the squad...she is an U23 player and is playing well ( as she was last season ) and has 2 assists to her name in WSL and Gabby has none. Poppy is much better at going forward as well...ask both Kirby and Parris. Fantastic to see the brilliant mace in the team. I would like to see her play along side Walsh as a brick wall defensive unit experiment ( the Italian in me!) to protect the defence and both are very skilful two footed players so can create as well. ( Stanway is far too slow against counter attacks which we are always vulnerable to). This is time to experiment and test young players. I would like to see this team against US Hampton Le Tissier Morgan Greenwood George Mace Walsh Park Clinton ABJ Russo However, Sarina will only experiment against Switzerland
