Well, this is a fun one!
Three days and three crew (including me) to knock out this exotic jewel box garden.

I WISH I lived somewhere friendly to succulents. I have been struggling to keep them going indoors for the past five years. Last summer I put all of my succulents out in the sunroom, which has been FINE every other year. Our summer was so horribly humid that I lost about 60 beautiful plants to some kind of fungus, and I'm still fighting to save a few. I can't keep doing this, so I guess I'll just watch and salivate while Laura plants these huge beauties which can happily live outdoors!

Greg nailed it with the fountain placement. Early in the video I was going to comment and suggest that you put the fountain in front of the freestanding wall, and voilà! There it sits! 😃

My favorite too! I am having trouble finding more and I only get a few new ones off my current collection every year and I don’t like cutting them but I do some!

Oh, to be a succulent collector in a hospitable environment! I think a little black rock would be great, to balance and integrate the black trellis. Can't wait to see the final result; I'm sure it will be gorgeous!

Hey Laura, it's looking beautiful and I can't wait to see the finished product! Something looks off from a design perspective - the one section of trellis on the wall right of the gate (when looking from the courtyard out towards the road). I reckon "restraint" could be applied here for a more high end look.

Fountain area looks so pretty already with the way you situated the fountain & the plantings & rocks you placed already! Question: Did anyone mention yesterday that your mic wasn't on & we could hear Greg loud & clear instead? And on this video, you sounded fine until Greg almost tripped & you were by the fountain then your mic sounded muted again.

That Aeonium you move from the pot to the vine is call 'Starburst'. Very similar to sun tolerant sunburst except this one more shade tolerant.

I am so distracted by the hummingbird in the first part of the video! I just worry, this time of year (especially with Anna's who nest right now) if they have a nest or are getting ready to nest, that they aren't getting disturbed, so I hope you check for that 💓

No that's a draecena near the door, not a sheflira. I love all her shelving with her specimens round the back. Probably not something we can get in Australia.

Beautiful canvas, great selection of Succulents and colorful plan. Love it❣️ I'll be boldly honest; the fountain altho lovely is very loud & not a positive in your video. It sounds like a Urinal in a men's facility. It is distracting & makes it difficult to follow the narrative. Peace
