It's Feeding Time

Silverback Oumbi is looking out of the window to see the staff putting all the food outside. A look inside and now Ozala is looking out the window at the right and straight on is Oumbi. In the room closest to the camera is Biddy the grandma. Things always get a bit wild before feeding time. Ozala turns around and pushes her mother. Biddy was quick to hit back at her. She seemed to already predict her daughter's move. Biddy has a look out the window now. It always takes a little while until the staff opens up the outside again. Everything needs a quick clean and the food is scattered. In the next clip Oumbi is on the left by the rope and Ozala and her younger son Shufai are on the rope above and Biddy is down the bottom. Now it's Oumbi's turn to have a little of an outbreak. He pulls the rope down and Shufai his son has to hold tight not to fall down. Biddy moves out of his way. Another look out of the window. When the doors open, Oumbi is out first. The next clip was taken on their second feed of the day, you'll see who comes out where. Oumbi and Ozala are out first, followed by Shufai, Biddy and Lope, who comes around from the hut. Lope does a little twirl, Shufai grabs as much as he can. Even Asante gets her fair share. She's the lowest rank family member and always stays back before she grabs her bits and bobs. Lope finds some more in the tree. Biddy sitting by the hut eating and then grabbing some more. Dragging the branch with her around by her feet. A close-up of Oumbi sitting there before he goes back inside.

Absolutely adorable watching them watch the keepers scatter the food! Amazing managing their massive physiques on lettuce and tree bark etc!

Oumbi's face is magnificent, I had to pause on it for a bit just because! Granma B getting her grocery shopping done and Lope doing his happy dance. All is right with the world, uh their world the rest not so much my world is still a soggy mess! LOL
