Loove your appreciation of Simon's singing - his vocal range and sound is stunning. Really felt for Wilhelm at the end (brilliantly acted) - ahh his stress, frustration, anger and pain. Also, the way Wilhelm and Simon look at each other throughout - Wow!!

I completed it just now... I can't believe how they turned our view on August and Sara... Hated Sara in sea 1 but this time i had seen quite an interviews of the actress who played sara and started seeing Sara as her. Loved the ending. Now have to wait for 1 year for next sea to come.

It was awful!!!! We're basically at the same place as they were at the end of season 1...especially if the "plot twist" of season 3, episode one is that as soon as Wille goes off script, the royal family pulled the plug on the TV feed and the school confiscates all the student's phones as commanded by the queen. Then...the whole season was TOTALLY meaningless, instead of nearly entirely meaningless..Drama isn't plot advancement, nor character development. It was bad tv and not worthy of season 1.

I loved the premiere! I've watched 3 eps so far and loved them so much, this is such a well done series! Going to finish it tonight. The chemistry between Wilhelm and Simon is just too good. They really did the angst/tension so well this season. Wilhelm seeing Simon on a date broke meeeeee. :( Good for Wilhelm standing up for himself against his family!

IDK why they didn't translate the lyrics to the karaoke song. A very famous song in Sweden. It was our entry to ESC 1983. The song is called Främling/Stranger, and the lyrics are "Stranger, what are you hiding from me in your dark eyes, a skimmer of light somewhere, but still a Stranger. This is how I feel about you, I beg of you to let me know, who do you want to be, please explain to me Like Mona-Lisa has a smile, you also hide a secret, I see the stars and I would happily take one down just for you...." I firmly believe that they chose this song for the very apt lyrics in this show.

Netflix don't translate song lyrics?? That's so weird, sometimes the lyrics are quite relevant to what's happening in the scene. The song they sing at karaoke is literally about an instant romantic bond created between two strangers lmao

When I watched it this morning the lyrics were translated in the karaoke scene as well as the song that Simon sings in his bedroom. they didn’t show up in this video, but they definitely showed up when I watched it.

Over and above the story line, acting and actors...the true excitement about this series is the political statement this story is exposing. Many won't even notice the impact this show will have on the regular lives of the average LGBTQ+ person....However, as it was explained to me during the avalanche of comments after season 1, this story is aimed at the possibility of opening up dialogue over the controversy surrounding the inability of the Swedish Constitution to allow for a LGBTQ+ monarch....with Wilhelm's speech at the end.....Season 3 looks to be........ Everyone must watch this season as many times as possible to have the algorithm show Netflix a 3rd season is needed.......

Ecco , anche la 2^ serie vista, si mi è piaciuta molto , a parte le prime 2 parti forse un pò noiose..... poi ha preso il volo , finalmente Simon (omar r.) inizia a migliorare nella recitazione , sembra un poco più sicuro , Williem all'altezza della situazione , pieno possesso del suo personaggio , credo proprio sia il faro di tutta la serie , lo rivedrò ancora , il finale è una speranza , oltre ai sentimenti si debba rispettare gli esseri umani nella loro integrità e nelle loro aspettative della loro vita .

It's just awful...binged the whole season... the first season is about 15-16 yr olds, the second season seems to have been written by 15-16 yr olds...drama without real plot advancement or character development. The entire season has a plot that could've been in 1 or 2 episodes....then really let the plot move!!! But, it just laid there like a dying animal on the side of the road....a money grab that plays on our feelings, yet gives us basically nothing but another 1 1/2 yrs to wait for some plot development.

I can understand why you feel this way. I was kind of expecting super high stakes and cliff hangers at the end of every episode like season 1 but after watching it all and thinking about it, it really feels set up to have a third act. If the first season was setting the show and building up the drama and hitting you in the gut this season is the aftermath and the slow burn. The season that shows more relationships/friendships evolve and the transformations the characters are going through. It’s the kind of processing and finding themselves season and then the trigger pull at the end. It feels perfectly set up to see things explode right out of the gate in an act 3 or season 3 that would be more like season 1 with huge drama, fallout, consequences, pain but also love and change. I think if that had added all of that to this season it would have been too much and not executed as well and probably would have ended the series at 2 seasons with resolution. Instead this way they got to lay a lot of groundwork and character dynamics without rushing to a conclusion and trying to jam to much into the show. Season 3 could be a blowout season and maybe even a very satisfying final act. I’m not disappointed. There was a few things I would have changed or cut out but I also don’t know what the writers have planned and they likely have the entire arc storyboarded out. If I learned one thing from season 1 it’s to trust the creative team. They know what they are doing and not a single scene in season 1 was filler so I tend to believe what we got this season is important to the full storyline even if we are not privy to that information yet. I also thought it was beautifully acted, stunningly shot, with another fire soundtrack. It has actually gotten me super pumped and dying to see a season 3.

For someone who loves Young Royals with their heart and soul, it was hard for me accept that season two didn't live up to my expectations but did a lot of emotional damage instead. I'm hoping that Netflix will renew the show for season 3.
