We try to help as many turtles crossing the roads as we can! It’s sad to see how many get run over 😖🫣 We have our insurance adjuster coming out next week because we have so much damage to our roofs! It was really nice to see Finley joining you both in prayer to start the morning activity. It’s seriously came out of nowhere! From sunny and hot to a huge storm in less than 20 minutes! we are so thankful that everything has survived the storms that we’ve had! Screens/nets are a MUST in wooded areas, as you well know! Chris has been working out of town and staying at a campground instead of hotels to save money. They've tried just about everything to save themselves from the horrible amount of skeeters out there... except for screen!! I suggested they buy a pop-up netted canopy tent and they were like "genius!". 🤣😂🤣 I was like, thank you, that's why you need wives around lolol. How they hadn't thought of that, I have no clue 🤦🏻‍♀️😆 Anywho, glad you're loving your little bit of treetop paradise!! 🥰 So glad to hear CJ's job is going GREAT!! I'm happy for him!! The fly for it is currently out of stock…. We are in the process of trying to figure out a way to cover the entire structure with another form of roof! Will you be insulating the roof/walls for winter? While in the Army, our medical unit used several types of tentage. These came with light canvas liners that were effective insulators for heat and cold.

Hello guys from Siberia, from the shore of Lake Baikal! We obviously have the same climate as you... and even the beetles are the same, even though we live apart from each other on the other side of the globe! You have built a wonderful platform and a tent for it is just right, but only if you do not constantly keep warm in this tent in winter, all your "insulation" of the floor is useless... the linoleum will freeze and begin to crumble. It would be better to leave the boards open, so it is fresher in summer and any small debris will go through the cracks by itself. And for the winter, lay styrofoam and osb... although I am not a supporter of these materials at all. They evaporate chloride from the temperature, and breathing it is as dangerous as tasting sarin (a chemical warfare agent)! Respect from Russia! 😊

I absolutely love the tent. One question, is there a place for a stove in there? I love where y'all live. I'd like to spend a year there and experience it all. Maybe something in my retirement.
