It's Finally Here! Our Book is Ready

It's finally here. Bogdan and I created a book called Collecting Art: An Artist's Perspective. Written from the point of view of an artist speaking to his/her collectors, the short book covers all sorts of topics from deciding what is and is not art, to what and how to collect, how to organize your collection, and how to plan for the future. We are offering the book as a free PDF download from www.johnbishopfineart.com, or you can buy a paper copy from our studio, or online. We are so excited, and hopefully the books will be of interest.
Bogdan is in Romania, so join today's vlog to see what is going on in Eastern Europe, as well as what I'm doing while he is away. It may be the first time in 20 years that I've been able to choose the radio station. Miss him, but the cat and I are making it work while he's away.
I should warn you that this week's vlog was totally edited by me, and I'm not sure I know what I'm doing. Hopefully it's ok. If not, please don't hold it against me. I'm learning.

“Art Life with John & Bogdan” is a weekly blog/vlog/podcast that creates a community, a conversation, between creatives in all sorts of fields at all sorts of levels. We want to discuss what we’re learning, what we’ve experienced, and whom we’ve met in our journey of running a freelance creative business. John Bishop is a visual artist living in Houston, Texas. His work is largely abstract, and explores how to turn mythic, archetypal symbols into individual experiences allowing us to see them in a new way, with fresh eyes. Bogdan is a videographer and fine art photographer who constantly seeks to stretch the boundaries of traditional photographic work, with the added flare of his artistic eye. Both artists’ work can be seen online, or at their studios at Silver Street Studios, 2000 Edwards Street, in Houston.
