This is just so awsome!! I watch your videos from the start in 2015 and you have really nailed it, amazing progress, from a small store to the big you have now, my hat off to a true model boss! inspirering for all of us and always positive and jolly. I really like how most of the tools are separate from their hold down pieces, so that you can use them in a diorama. Also it just adds that much more to the detail of the vehicle

If you look at 2:11 on the full build video of the 4 x 4 it show the sprues and you can see the ax has the metal ax head cover molded to the ax head and the shovel has a metal strap across the shovel. The ones on the Easy 8 Do not have these they are separate pieces.

Compare that to 20:44 of this video you can see the shovel and the ax have nothing on the Shovel and Ax Heads. Either way I still love both of these models and have pre ordered the Jeep and will be getting this one as well.

Just...WOW! A-MAZING! GREAT call going with 1/16 scale; I LOVE the level of detail that can be captured in larger scale vs. smaller. Granted, modern mold shot tech has alleviated some of that, but you can't escape the reality that tiny details on the prototype are just more easily reproduced with good fidelity in larger scales. So, again, stellar call going 1/16 on this. CANNOT wait to see one with all the final details; casting texture, welds, etc. As for overall presentation -- well, nothing says "big" quite like actually being BIG. My guess is there's gonna be a lotta guys, especially those really into armor, whose biggest challenge with this kit is gonna be making enough space to fit it with the rest of their model motor pool when it's done. Hats off to you, Andy; it's obviously a dream coming true for you, and great to see it turning into such a desirable kit, to hear so much enthusiasm for it. You just might make an armor modeler out of me, yet. LOL!

Awesome! Here's an idea - open and closeable hatches with hinges! I hate gluing every hatch/door in place.. Would love for this to become a thing in 1/35 and every other scale (unless too small)!
