I am a Chinese player. I have been playing since PGR started. When the game was just tested, many elements of PGR were clearly visible. The button design and UI style are almost identical to PGR. This made the game's initial impression on the players very bad. A lot of players didn't like the game in the first place. But good game character design and action design attract some players. Unfortunately, the test at the end of the game revealed that the cost of character development is too high and the game benefits are too small. The game hasn't changed since the beta. Although I didn't participate in the test, I downloaded and played it after the public test. Character design and skill action design are very good. It is also good to have dubbing for the drama. But the overall combat experience is pretty bad. Although 3 characters can be played, the player can only control one character and cannot switch. The hit feedback and sound effects of the attacks are also very mediocre. After finishing the battle guidance and character development guidance at the beginning, you will enter the game lobby interface. The lobby interface design is a disaster. The UI design is outrageous. The UI layout and button design of most mobile games are concentrated on the left or right side of the screen. But this game places the primary buttons at the bottom of the screen, and other secondary function buttons on the left and right. Together with character information, currency information is arranged at the top of the screen. This causes the UI of the game to wrap around the screen. Imagine what it's like to have your PC desktop shortcuts wrap around the screen. So this game still needs a very huge improvement. It shouldn't be compared to PGR. It's more casual. It's not meant to be a hard core experience. It has a bit of similarities to Honkai but the changes to the combat are enough to pull it away from the character switch combat that Honkai is known for. I agree with some things said but the things I agree with aren't deal-breakers. I enjoy the combat, it's simple although it has room for improvement, it's not a deal-breaker. I like the lobby interface, I don't really think it looks bad or even has any issues. Everything is right in front of you and simple to understand. @@IAMCha0tik question though i do get that pgr puts emphasis on skill but one does not need the best scores in war zone and pain cage to grind memories or get rewards. So being try hard is up to the player. Id say competitive matters more in honkai than pgr since crystal currency is depedent on youre abyss bracket

You guys are turning it into a "Defend PGR" thing when this game isn't meant for PGR's audience. PGR is a great game but the AUIENCE is more hardcore than a Honkai and this game is more like Honkai.

Id still say pgr is mostly story driven just that the try hard aspect is also apparent since the game highly rewards skill. Being try hard in pgr is optional since all currency can be obtained playing casually while in honkai youre abyss bracket determines the rewarded crystals.

PGR is story driven but you don't see many people who care about the story. The audience is more hard core than a Honkai or AG audience with a focus on the various ranking systems in the game

​@@IAMCha0tik No, as a 1000+ days and now quit pre-kanchou of honkai, i could tell you Hi3 is more hardcore than PGR (being casual f2p or not). You need to be a really old player to understand it. You are not playing the game, but the game itself is playing you, mentally and emotionally. They nailed their first impressions, but eventually you will find out how dark MHY is. About AG, similar is not same and i am agree with you although it looks 90% like PGR. About the gameplay, i havent experienced it before so i cant judge, whether its story focused or not i think able to make something from noting is impressive, even copy and paste need efforts to not get copyrighted (i am not saying that AG copied PGR just some people out there they insisted).

@@thiendaifull you guys are confusing hardcore with greedy PGR is more hardcore than hi3 hardcore=difficult, skill based and bosses that could one shot you instantly on the other hand hi3 rewards whales greedy=more crystals for ranking higher in game modes and to rank higher you need to gacha for meta characters,gacha stigmata 3 of them to be specific and gacha for weapons……hi3 money=power=higher rank . The enemies ai is dog water with big hp pools so yeah PGR is way too difficult compared to hi3 and even been a whale only goes so far ….. I have seen someone with sss character out score someone with sss+ in warzone that was when I knew it is skill first power second

my only gripe with it is that because you only play as one character in battle, it does get very repetitive. It’s still fun kind of and it’s interesting. The combo ults are the best part tho. Also why does the story content cost so much stamina at the later stages…? 🙃

So far I'm really enjoying the Bilibili version of Aether Gazer even more than PGR. Reminds me of playing PGR just after it got released. Can't read anything but the Gameplay is still a ton of fun. Sad that it's story focused, would love to experience the story but it will probably take like 2-3 years for a global release

I haven’t really played the game but from the footage I saw on KZbin mostly from you. I would say that this game is rather unique. It’s also looks fun with cool combat. Graphics does give me a little PGR vibe(first impression btw) but the more I look into it I saw how different and unique it is. Really hype for the game. Given the standard games nowdays(since Genshin) they know they have to release global version asap. The longer they release it, the less hype players will be. Not to mention 2022 have tons of game to be release. For me I'm especially waiting on Nikkie and maybe ToF if it's fit my style.

They don't have to release it Globally at a fast pace. They focus on their target audience and everything else is secondary. The later it takes the more refined content and less bugs will hit global release. Developers should NEVER give into the hype of the players in hopes that the hype will drive their game to success and they should always make sure the game is ready for the Global market because Global is literally filled with ass holes ready to rip it to shreds. Doesn't matter how close to release it is... Global will find reasons to ruin it if the title doesn't have anything to continue to excite players or if anything is changed. The longer they take, the more content CN will have to show off what the future of the game holds and that will continue to excite the players that were originally hyped for the game.

You can enjoy what you want. My comments about not caring about that doesn't have any effect on what you enjoy. It 100% is a slight on people who would disregard an entire game just because they don't notice a male is in the game. The game play doesn't turn them off. The story doesn't turn them off. The music, art, or gacha doesn't turn them off... but the fact that it doesn't have any males... deal breaker.
