Decriminalization of cocaine? NO that's NOT what he (president) said. As Colombian, I don't like when ignorant people talk about this topic because of course this affects again Colombia. You don't even know how hard we've been working to eliminate the stereotype. So, let me INFORM you what Colombia thinks about this terrible drug. President Petro said that we must protect farmers who don't have resources, money, and infrastructure to plant more than the coke plant. (That plant has been cultivated for centuries in South America for indigenous people) the plant needs to have a long "industrial" process to convert into cocaine. So that PROCESS needs to attack. Not the plant, but sadly that process turns an ancestry plant into a drug. So when Petro said "Decriminalization" is not Cocaine. Cocaine needs to be eliminated and Colombia is working so hard to do it. So please, share right information. Colombia it's a BEAUTIFUL country that everyone should go at least once in his life. By your own eyes will see how is no longer how is represented by Netflix series... or things like that. Colombia has a lot to offer in a good way! Regards, A Colombian who wants to be seen as a Colombian and not something related to drugs. Thanks :) Note: yes, there's a process that wants to Decriminalize weed (Marijuana) in my country same as California did, or Holland and another territories around the world.
