Not only am I worried about accidentally using ai as reference instead actual art and photos, but every day I become increasingly worried about possibly being accused of using ai instead of actually drawing

As an aspiring artist, I really liked how you addressed this topic and the possible future implications that AI will have. This is the first video of yours that I have seen and I have already subscribed.

Only way to avoid getting AI art is human interaction; like visiting artist booth in conventions, actually getting involved with creative process with artists, etc.. As future of digital art, it’s hard to say. But sadly it’s all about if it can make enough money and fast or not. The Market doesn’t really care about human integrity. I bet it can’t though

Idk I've seen booths showcasing AI art before, so you have to be careful there too...

Wel there was someone on twitter who literly sold AI image on those boots but they also edit on them self half or small about it, and many people spread around to keep in mind the Person it really good but they Literly use AI half of there stuff and then draw over it before update it so many people went around and asked there money back

I understand your anxiety about accidentally engaging with AI (or, as an artist, being accused of using it). I feel like this has caused a cooling-effect on that super-slick, anime-realism that AI likes to emulate, and I see more artists transitioning to physical media (particularly sketchbook spreads, ceramics, and fibercraft). The way I try to pick out AI art is by looking at the artist's volume of output: most artists can't pump out a ton of hyper-detailed work in a single week.

Am I the only one that thinks it's rather simple to combat? If you're gonna submit to sth big and official like this, document the creation process and submit that too. Unless AI can also replicate every step of a given pic. Then I'm beat

At this point. Timelapsing our work is gonna have to be the only way for us to show proof that we did our work. I don't mind generative images being used as a tool, A TOOL to help us with the blank canvas. But it being used a just a final product. Then I have no hope for the future.

For what I know, lawsuits are happening. They will take long as the suing process is long, but AI is not just dangerous for art, but for people aswell.

I've been telling this to people for a bit, the people who think their art is safe because of quality or whatever. The AI machine has already taken over the beginner and mediocre market. Artists of those particular skill sets no longer exist as AI is on their level. Now that's a sign of the future

This was a very good video with great points, and i wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. Especially the uncertainty and fear that many artists and even non-artists will probably be facing in the future, how will we ever be sure if an artwork is made by human hand or a machine? And especially if in the future the only art the masses will be able to enjoy and consume is made by AI while the high classes can actually pay real artists, it's all very grim to think about. I think we can all just pray and hope that more strict regulations and actual laws are set on the usage or AI, if this keeps going on like this- hell we're all gonna be doomed 😭 Thx for this video, i look forward to hearing more from you! ✯(•‿•)

Hope AI art will reach point when it is indistinguishable from human art. So people finally will judge art by the idea and not just another ordinary anime pics

You want a reward just for existing? That's like saying we should skip the actual game entirely and judge sports competitions solely based on which player ~believes~ they're the best. Sorry, no, skill, effort, study, and execution should be rewarded, not a glorified google search.
