The time has FINALLY come. Yes, it is the LAST episode of the Quest for the Sixes build. Of course, we are technically just now starting this quest... but the build part (or at least version 1) is DONE! 🙌🏼 For the most part. At this point, it was running, driving, and ready to head to Race Week 1.0
I know this has taken forever to get this video out to you guys, so THANK YOU for sticking with us on this journey! Now, let the fun begin👊🏼

@@Pookybutt3 I think a lot of car guys don’t take a young pretty female seriously when it comes to cars. It’s a damn shame, especially when it comes to Alex. She’s knowledgeable and her father is an outstanding race car builder/fabricator. The family unit is awesome. Real gear heads are crazy if they don’t subscribe.

I just have to tell you this, I am so impressed that you were so informative in the videos. I have learned a lot just by watching. Alex, you are a lady any daddy would be so proud of. You work so hard and are willing to learn. I look forward to more projects you will be doing. Next, I have to tell you how much I appreciate the lack of swearing and innuendos that several of these channels have. My wife and daughters (sons too) also will enjoy watching this channel. I don't have to worry about foul language messing up the program.. Thanks so much!

Okay it's the end of the video. Watching to the end of this video and watching the engine start after all that you guys have been through, brought a tear to my eye. .... Both of my eyes. This video was absolutely fantastic. Seeing your family and friends and cohorts work so well together to make this happen is just beautiful. I wish you guys had another week before the big day but regardless, there's always tomorrow. Thanks for putting together such a fun, silly, happy and hilarious video. 👍 I can't imagine the time involved in filming and editing the video like this with so many things happening and deciding what to believe out and what to put in. This was very well put together. Worth the wait.

Alex, I have enjoyed this series from the day you drug that ratty 55 from behind the shop. I subscribed after that first episode. I have been amazed at the skill of your dad as the build progressed. Now that you have reached the end of the build and have the car running I look forward to seeing you lay down your first 6 second pass in it. The car looks just awesome and it holds the track very well. I saw your half track pulls at Great bend at the end of RMRW. Can't wait to watch the videos of your travels to Colorado and more detailed clips of you running the car at Great Bend. Thanks for sharing with us.

I just wanted to say this series was seriously motivating and enjoyable. It motivated me to attempt to finish my 15 second car for dragweek this year. It won’t be anything fancy and high tech, but seeing others work and grind, from a not even built car to a 6second capable machine. really motivated me, with an already running and driving 15 second boat lol. Thanks for the series you guys really deserve the best wishes. Hope to see you at dragweek - will ✌️

I'm so pleased that you didn't have to "lift" the rear tubs into the fenders (wings, I'm British!) I love the shape of the tri-5 chevys and the 55 is my favourite. I knew that it was going to be a squeeze getting those "meats" under the original fenders and I knew that your Dad (Dennis) wasn't happy about the idea but had a fatalistic view of the situation. I would say that the wiring looks amazing, Alex...... but the whole of car looks amazing. Really a work of functional rolling art and the effort by everyone deserves huge praise. I'm truly envious of Dennis's wide range of skills and his abilities to take the idea and produce such a beautiful vehicle. Time to sleep! Then back to the grindstone producing more works of Automotive Art!
