I grew up in Abu Dhabi ... Believe it or not the "calm sea" that you are swimming in was open water at that time. We even encountered dolphins in that water before the breakwaters were put in place. Emirates Palace Hotel is one of the best in terms of places to stay while in Abu Dhabi! Loved the revisit with you on this vlog!
