Great to see both side by side. Love that Bracelet, far better than the older one, including the clasp. I think the white one though works best on the black omega rubber strap. I got my white Speedy 3 weeks after release & love it! I received so much attention at Watches & Wonders Geneva a few weeks back you wouldn’t believe! Got approached literally by 50+ people that wanted to see it, try it on & take photos! I was there with a big crew for 3 days & they couldn’t believe it. Especially because some of my buddies were wearing watches valued @ 100k+ 😂

I would choose the '57 Broad Arrow over the Moonwatch any day, but it wouldn't be fair to say that Omega hasn't raised the bar with the new white dial. To be more precise, the handset and the applied hour markers are absolutely stunning, and the red accents are a very nice touch. Great video, as always! Cheers!

if this watch was released yesterday, no history, no story, what would you say about this vs the black dial? I think the white dial accentuates the details over the black dial. The nerds, and I am one, have always appreciated the details on this watch, the step dial, the legible hands, the markers. Black dial purist, or white dial enthusiast, this is a fantastic watch. I’d buy it, and put it right next to my hesalite black dial in my watch box.

I've tried the white dial on and it's amazing. Bummer about the lume difference, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I mean, I own 2 Alpinists with tiny lume dots at the indices. Who am I to judge? One local AD I spoke to about it already had 20 deposits down for that model. It seems to be quite popular.

I love the Speedy and have it in my collection. Of course the black dial version. I tried the white dial speedy on at the Omega boutique and I must say I’ll stick with black version. I was kind of underwhelmed by that watch in real life. In my opinion it looks better on the internet.

I really prefer the Panda version in the Tokyo 2020 Speedmaster release. I owned one and it incorporated the easy adjustment in the clasp.

I have the white Seamaster 300m for 2 years and I bought a special aftermarket bracelet which looks like the one from the Speedy to have exactly this kind of look. And was totally happy with it. But since Omega created this masterpiece I have the strong desire to buy this as well 😂

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MaMaCoo and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

I do love the white dial, It's a great and refreshed look, but the black dial is just going to age better IMO. I daily my 3861 Speedy, and I don't think I would trade in for the white dial.

I wasn’t expecting to learn anything watching this, I had never heard it’s 40 mm at the bezel. Some watches look amazing in white, if I was buying an explorer 2 it has to be white. With the speedy it has to be black, I’m not sure how I would feel if it didn’t have the tacky red speedmaster text but the other white dials look a lot better. I had never thought about a full lume dial speedy but I think it’s a spark of genius, a playful speedmaster would be a nice change.

I watch your videos primarily because of the writing. Superb wit and jabs at the ridiculous hobby of watch collection. The best humor is that which self depricates. I did not, however, watch this for the Omega Speedmaster, as many have. I feel that it's overpriced and overrated. I do, however own a Bulova Lunar Pilot in white panda. The 2nd watch to land on the moon and not fail...like astronaut David Scott's NASA issued Omega. May the farce be with you... Always.

I'm really confused about the swim at 30m. I had a speedy pro (pre-Metas) that I would gently wash under sink water (not submerged, just running water). Two times it had condensation under the crystal and had to be sent back. It was a 50m rated watch.

I love my White Dial. That said, I may be the only person on Earth who flat out hates the 3861 bracelet. The edges are so sharp they can and do scratch the caseback. You'd think that for that price Omega could figure this out, but then again they don't understand how to put more than two adjustment holes in the clasp. Go figure.
