Ive grown to like Yamai. Her character is freaking hilarious and consistent. Everytime you see her pop up on the screen you just know some bullshit about to go down. She's that character in every show where you want to hate but can't help yourself from laughing everytime they are on screen.

8:18 Even if japanese schools have janitors (more specifically non-teaching staff), it's the students duty to keep the school clean, that's why in other school animes you see some student stay after everyone left, cause they are on cleaning duty for that day (remembre how Gojo from "My dress up darling" was kida abused by his class mates to clean in their cleaning shifts)

I don't know exactly how wide-spread it is, and I can't say for sure about Komi's, but a fair few Asian schools don't have janitorial staff The students clean after classes. I've heard it's to teach hard work, respect, humbleness, and various other reasons, but just for what it's worth.

To be clear, in US student did not clean their own classroom? I mean here in Malaysia (and I think most Asian country) although we have janitorial staff to clean the school, each class is responsible for its own cleanliness. We even has schedule for who's responsible for sweeping the floor and wipe the windows and competition among the classes which class is the cleanest.

Nah we don't do that hear the janitors are pretty much responsible for all cleaning probably cause we don't stay in one room all day we move every class to a different room so having class wide organization like that is difficult for 6 different classes every day

Gacha pretty much got most of it but basically here in the US our rooms are for the subjects and not classes of students, so we travel from classroom to classroom regularly. Cleaning it ourselves would be impractical, unless we did something particularly messy that day in class.
