I've been celibate for almost 2 years this year, and I can admit that soul ties are soooo real! I used to have a sexual relationship with someone who was depressed and had no drive in life, and I actually started seeing those traits in me...but prior to that, I didn't really think they existed. I used to feel like if I don't give someone sex then I won't be enough for him and in order for me to be treated well I had to give him sex..basically saw it as a currency. But I'm no longer that person as I've got a renewed and transformed mind in Christ. I am worth it because He says so, I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Don't stop... I was celibate and decided to just stop. Biggest mistake I ever made in life, not only did I just feel like my life was falling apart piece by piece I felt stagnant... During that period I learned that the guy I was dating was a devil worshiper! It's not worth, trying to get back to the life I was living before has been really tough... N also to touch abit on what Mpumi said about soul ties the guy I slept with was a smoker n for a few months I found myself enjoying cigarettes from nowhere, prior to that I cudnt stand cigarettes... Guys.. soul ties are a real thing. Guard your heart & protect your body. I remember being in a sexual relationship with this guy and being soo addicted to him. And he was so mean to me. I was unwilling to just sit and listen to the Holy Spirit anymore, even at the point of not understanding why God would not just let him be the one. I was gonna make him the one for me. God's purpose and plan was unimportant to me. Looking back, I cannot even believe that was me. This video is an important lesson that I wish every young Christian could hear.

I went through the same thing sis, I forced myself on him even with the hurt that came with. I forced myself to believe that he was the one, although I knew deep down in my heart. I replaced God's place in my heart for him. I put him first and I refused to see anything else other than love and it wasn't love. For 8 years, I refused to listen to the holy spirit. Today I look back and think.... It can only be Grace❤️

The part of "shame and quilt" really hit hard on me, I remember last week I refused to go to church because of the things I during the week... I felt dirty to go to the house of the Lord... And also ever since I engaged myself into this adult thing I became distance, and whatever bad thing I wanna do, I justify with the fact that I did lot of sins then why no do this one...
