Dude 100% same here!! Kenny is the man and had such an inspirational journey back to the top......twice!! The only guy I wanna see grab a win as bad as Ken (ok almost as bad lol) is AC. After all both guys have been thru when they podium, win, or just have an awesome day it feels extra special and I'm super stoked for them. I really hope this is just the "Kickstart" of a killer run for Kenny the rest of the SMX season 😎✌️

@@LilSebastian_ his contract is basically just full on an option contract. He can pick and choose as he goes along. In the second half of supercross he can choose to go outdoors and SMX, skip outdoors and do smx, retire, or sign for next year supercross only again. He’s basically able to do what he feels like. But I think we are going to see him go all year this year and then supercross only next year.

Not a bad idea, the other thing i was wondering about is. Maybe if you get lapped, next time you pass the Finish line you pull off the track and that is your finishing position. Idk why it’s so hard for people to realize, Eli is riding himself into race fitness. 10 months is an incredibly long break from upper body strength and you cannot do any workouts off the bike like how your arms get worked when racing. Racing within itself is another animal, he’s getting stronger every weekend. It wasn’t a terrible race, Jett finally caught him with 7 min left i believe. He rode consistent, strong, good pace, beat cooper, and he’s not sweating it. He will only get more and more fit and more comfortable. Wait for Daytona y’all

The arm pump is from not enough sadde time. Come on guys. While everyone raced every weekend this summer, while some guys did the MoN, they all did the SMX playoffs, the top guys went to Europe. Eli was laid up!!! He had 8 weeks of prep. He is racing himself into shape. 8 weeks!! You can train off the bike 20hours and it isn't gonna add up to a 20min main. As far as age, Kenny and Anderson are the same age within months. Some top TDF riders were 34yrs old. Give him some time. He should have used this year as a building year. The year after Eli won his first SX title, he only won 3 races the whole year!! He was 3 years younger came back and whipped everyone's arse. He needs time. I'm actually surprised he is doing this well, in this field, givin that serious injury.
@marmaleg53099 ай бұрын
Agree. You can't take that much time off the bike and just pick up where you left off. He'll be back. I just hope he decides he'd like to do motocross again
@Unkownktm9 ай бұрын
Agree 100%, not enough race time. Don’t agree with reference to age, u don’t go from 100-0 due to a serious injury and expect to get back to 100 after a few races. Tomac is so well conditioned to have age thrown in his face as an excuse. Give him time.

Eli is dealing with arm pump because hes compensating for his achilles injury. When such an unexpected bad injury happens in a split second like the achilles, theres no doubt hes thinking about it. That makes him ride tense and less with his legs and more with his arms.

Where he would normally ride the ball of his foot, now he's looking for more support and the peg is more to the middle. I've shattered my ankle and had the same issue, where I had to change position to not flex my ankle as it would cause pain. Completely changes how you ride.
