oh man I FELT this... I have a horrible panic disorder that came out of nowhere in 2018 that took my life from me. I cant drive or work anymore and living off of disability is hell on earth especially when Im a father and supposed to be the bread winner so to speak. Im trying so hard to rebuild now and I thank you so very much for this video. You are INSPIRING! All I want is a car so I can try to get my life back... Get out of this house and get my life and freedom back. I really wanted to do this for my 40th birthday in 9 days but that aint happening... but yeah enough yammering on about my crap. Thank you for this!

You aren’t alone man. Medication and therapy helped me with those exact issues. You are having a normal reaction to thoughts your brain is firing at you. Seize different thoughts, believe in yourself and realize that you are incredibly strong for dealing what you are dealing with. And it’s an ongoing thing. I’m +50 now. Kids all in University. Thinking of retiring. Like, what’s my purpose? Dad passed away. I’m next. Our brains can be punks sometimes and can really mess with us. Whatever I can do today, that’s ok. You’ve got this.

As a person whom has parents up there in age, and am dealing with ALL sorts of emotions as of late, is having a rough time just in general with their aging and my eventual having them not there with me...THIS brings me to a place of peace knowing that I'm NOT alone, that we are ALL going through something. THIS kind of video/post is what the world NEEDS right now. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE AND BANDS LIKE THIS!

Last month, just a few weeks back I was one of the 1K lights at the 1000 lights event to raise money for a mental health charity in honour of Chester Bennington They played this video up on the screen part way through the event and it hit me so hard I broke down, but I needed those tears to come out I’ve struggled with depression, anxiety, religious trauma, PTSD, Self Harm, Suicidal Ideation, Thoughts and attempts over the last 2 years so this touched me in a deep place and I’m thankful for this because EVERYONE needs to hear and know this EVERYONE wether they’re doing great in life if they’re going through some short term sadness if they go to sleep every night wishing they wouldn’t wake up the next day it doesn’t matter, NO ONE is alone. ❤❤❤

Getting to see you guys in SA during a rough time in my life was such an awesome experience it really helped lift me. And then when you did those Covid streams. It was exactly what I needed at the time. Thanks for being an awesome band and always being there for your fans.

I love your band’s music. It always takes me back to simpler times. It’s even more awesome watching some of your podcasts and seeing that you guys are some down to earth people. I wish you well with your struggles. I have some of the same struggles myself

You guys have helped me so much through some really tough times. I still remember 9yo me discovering you guys while living with my bio mam and her partner (he had the music channels on his TV while most of the UK still had 5 channels!) Girl All The Bad Guys Want put me in a happy place when the proverbial hit the fan. A friend later reintroduced me to you guys shortly after I’d had a brain op in 2006. The mixtape (mix CD?) he made me was amazing and got me through a lot of the recovery from the main after effects. He passed shortly before I got to see BFS’s ‘final” tour and I sat with a bittersweet happiness while watching, having made this my first ever lone gig. BFS are always on my playlists. The world they and their support acts have created are my happy place. I am so glad that they’re in a better place, too. Too many good artists have held their pain in and it got too much. These guys show that it’s fine to talk, no matter who you are. We’re all human, we all hurt but we are social creatures and work best together.

I literally just found out about this band, and let me tell you, you guys are pretty Epic. I love your music and my mind was blown when I saw on the wiki page that you played the Phineas and Ferb intro, which was the series that I've enjoyed most to watch with my nephew when he was a boy, and one of the first things I've thought was that finally there was a kids show with some great intro music.

This absolutely resonates with me. I had anxiety issues growing up. Still have the occasional issues. Im just no longer on medication. Finding that person or gimmick that allows you to be able to get in a better mood is always great. Punk and metal music definitely helped me with these feelings growing up. When I need to vent sitting and listening to music tends to help. Whether its sitting in a mood feeling sorry for myself until I dont or encouraging me to do better. Great music has a way of expressing the emotions we want to get across that simply using words wont. Bowling for soup I only found out about in recent years yet I still can receive the same effect from them as I would any other band I grew up with. Its like having a friend at your side when there isnt and you feel alone. Those feelings of the good days seem long gone sometimes and you guys definitely help me get my head out of the gutter and smile. I try not to get attached to any artist or favorite group/icon because people change or your expectations get shattered. Hopefully that wont ever happen with Bowling for soup but thats why I dont like getting too attached or diving too deep into anything. You guys have helped me more than you know these past couple years and I know this comment is not enough.... but thank you. P.s Getting old sucks but you guys make it worth it!
