Derry Girls is simply one of the best written and best performed comedies I've seen in over two decades. Probably the very best. Hilarious is too drab a word to describe this show. I've seen many of the first season episodes more than twice and found them to be just as funny as they were at first viewing. Granda Joe, "I'll compromise you through that window."

Small character detail I noticed about Orla is that whenever there's yelling, she covers her ears, happens in all the seasons I think. Little details like this one make me love the show so much more. So much thought went into the characters that it's almost indistinguishable from reality. They actually feel like REAL PEOPLE interacting with each other.
