I think the term 'under-rated' might be very over-used. Nicola Coughlan seems to be having a successful career and she's on the top British chat show with other major celebs and killing it. @@probablecausetocheckhard-drive it’s not British. It’s Irish. Hence why it’s called Derry girls and is about Irish girls.. It’s on British TV, but that doesn’t make it British. Or else all those Hollywood films made by British directors would be American and not British, if that’s your logic? Either you can claim the Hollywood films made by British directors with British casts are British and not American, or you can claim that the country they’re aired in is where they’re from. Brits just have zero self awareness and no understanding of exactly what is happening in Ireland. Europe is with Palestine. Europe is with Ireland. Europe is with Ukraine. UK have zero self awareness and don’t understand that they’re occupying Ulster. But us mainland Europeans know the history and the situation very well. British are 100% in the wrong. It’s not terrorism if you’re the occupying force, that’s called ‘freedom fighters’. I’m sure the nazis thought of the french resistance as terrorists too, but if the British and the Germans were back home in UK/Germany, they’d be safe.
@scented-leafpelargonium33662 жыл бұрын
@@burner9826 Well I am a non-Catholic non-Nationalist (by birth, not choice) citizen of Northern Ireland, which Irish nationalists would call "British," even though Britain only consists of England, Scotland & Wales on the mainland, not Northern Ireland, which is only part of the UK (United Kingdom of Great Britain AND Northern Ireland), so geographically we are Irish, not "British." Any time I go to GB they call me Irish, never "British." Seeing as you mention being 100% in the wrong and zero self-awareness. This could ostensibly apply to any group of people who don't know correct terminology or get the facts wrong. So you agree that I should leave the country where I was born because of those opinions? To where should I flee? Do I claim asyllum? What is it that makes a country "theirs" and not just freely for humankind to live there? I was in Ukraine, and many have sentiments about the Russians, but it is not racial, but for how Russia has treated the Ukrainians, otherwise they would be much more positive & engaging. Many Brits may have no understanding of what is happening in Ireland, yet many of the Irish who want the British to leave "their" country go to Britain to live among the Brits they disdain! Europe may be with the territory formerly called Palestine (renamed by the European Romans after ethnically cleansing the country of all Hebrews after the Israelites' ancient enemies the Philistines in order to humiliate them), and may also be with Ireland (I am guessing not those living on the island of Ireland that were born non-Catholic or non-Nationalist in the North) and may be with Ukraine while the political will is still there, which basically means that the UN supports the Palestinian Arab cause (I say Arab Palestinian, as before 1948 the Jews living in that territory under British rule from 1917-1947 and for 400 years before that under non-Arab Turkish rule, were also called "Palestinian" although the former handle of it was the land of Israel). This also implies that the UN/Europe is anti-British in their wholehearted support of Nationalist Catholic Ireland where other minorities like myself are routinely maligned and forced to accept only one political narrative (and of course realise that the majority of the population want us out, backed by Europe of course!). Ukraine happens to be the bread basket of Europe. You say that the UK are "occupying Ulster," but that is strictly not true. Ulster is made up of 9 counties, 6 in Northern Ireland and 3 in the Republic of Ireland, so the term and geography are not interchangeable. But as you say the Europeans (including the Irish) know the history and the situation very well, whilst the British have zero self-awareness, are 100% in the wrong with no understanding. I lived in Israel for 10 years as well as in England (in "Britain") after growing up in Northern Ireland in the Troubles and I met with much ignorance and misinformation about them all. Living in a country/territory really helps to understand the situation on the ground and to sort out facts from fiction and propaganda and media distortion and allows one to see the perspective from the sides of BOTH peoples caught up in any conflict that there may be in such regions, not just siding with the Muslim Arabs or the Catholic Irish only as the UN and Europe do by your own proud admittance. You call terrorism "freedom fighters" which must be the case when my next door neighbour, father of six children, was shot dead by the IRA and my uncle getting his kneecaps blown off resulting in his legs being amputated in the cause of this "freedom." If the British and Germans that you cite go back "home" does that mean that all foreign nationals should go back to their homeland country/territory of origin, such as all the foreign Irish living in Great Britain as they are obviously intrinsically opposed to the idea of British rule? And what about the Jews living in the Land of the Bible where their forefathers Kings David and Solomon reigned when London was just a marsh... where do you suggest they go? The Arabs (12 Tribes) lived in the huge expanse of Arabia, now very oil rich, whilst the Jews lived in the tiny area of Judea (Hebrew: "Jew" = YEHUDI, "Judea/Judah" = YEHUDIM) which is about the size of Wales, but now the world says the Arabs are entitled to Judea too. The British and Irish may eventually find homes if they are expelled or asked to leave, but the Jew will wander the earth with no people or nation to accept them, as happened during WWII. The Irish may not be anti-British as you claim, but they certainly are very anti-Israeli!
